“Excellent place for a meal and wine. The head chef came out to our table, assured we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We got to tour the restaurant, saw the deck outside. The chef Even gave us a few history lessons about Mt. Vernon. The cuisine was exquisite! I enjoyed a baked chicken linguini and Brussels sprouts dish that was amazing. We had a vegetarian in our party, and the chef whipped up an amazing stir fry dish to cater to his needs. Great staff and great food is always a winning combination. Keep up the great work!”

“Some of the best BBQ I have ever had. Perfectly smoked brisket and the sausage was amazing. I ordered the Big Tex, two meats on Texas Toast. Y'all... It's worth the stop and then some. My buddy had the two meat plate, same meats and he agreed it was all spectacular. It's a homey atmosphere, a little bit old diner, a little bit your uncle Steve who lives in the country. Lots of animal heads on the wall, but if you're stopping here you're not a vegan anyways. We also had banana pudding that tastes like your aunt Linda made it this morning. Oh and the tea was great too, brewed strong enough to know it's tea and sweet enough for a Texan adult. And the portions, I've got a belly but I left full.”

“2-27-19 This is your(2 for $6) spicy crispy chicken sandwich. We requested no mayo, but where is the: chicken(seriously, it's barely larger than a tender and you allow these to sell for more than $1?), tomato, and what's with the lettuce confetti? Burger King is not what it used to be, as you used to get your money's worth, but not anymore. Also, I gave this three stars instead of one because they were nice(size of the chicken isn't their fault) and also refunded the order, but I can't say I'll purchase anything other than an item off the dollar menu item from BK anymore.”

Service is friendly but in my case it was a bit slow to get our meal. Other than that it was just fine. Go and have a good meal. Prices were mid range and bathrooms were clean. “McDonald's tries hard to please their customers. The food is consistent, the services are usually predictable, and it's a good place (over all) to get what you expect. It's always a "go-to" place if a grandchild wants to go, especially if there's a playground. I deducted ONE STAR because they quit using Styrofoam insulated drink cups! I highly dislike having a drink in a thin plastic or waxed paper cup that "sweats" and drips condensation on my clothing, in my car, or on important paperwork. I also don't like that they make your hands cold if you are sensitive, elderly, have arthritis, or might need to touch others, such as a baby or a handshake, ...so I never go there when I am traveling or planning on eating in the car. IF I must go there for any reason, I take along my Yeti, Artic, or Pure metal highly insulated cup and transfer my drink immediately. On the other hand, I sometimes buy the things I particularly LIKE a la carte and then head for my "go-to" place to purchase my drinks in Styrofoam cups, places Herschels, Whataburger, so I will recieve my drink in an insulated FOAM cup, which I will reuse REPEATEDLY for up to 24-48 hours or more! Overall, McDonald's seems dependable, but when the quit using insulated cups, it makes it a deal-breaker for me, personally.”
