“The parking lot is small, but there is a drive through! Decent selection of doughnuts at a good price. I asked for a little time to browse, because we’d never been there before. She definitely rushed us even when there was no one else waiting. We did enjoy the doughnuts, they were exceptionally light, and had great flavors.”

“While I have only been in Galveston for less than 24 hours. The Mosquito Cafe lived up to its hype. From the time we walked in we were greeted with open arms as if we’ve been friends for years. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The food is amazing. I had the corned beef hash tacos with a side of eggs. From the first to the last bite you could taste every bit of flavor. Everything was cooked to perfection. Highly recommended this fine establishment.”

“Inspite I got a crispy chicken sandwich with meal. I did get an under cooked crispy chicken patty . It was raw. It wasn't entirely the fault of the kitchen cooks. It was a rather good size piece. But because it was, it did require extra time cooking. The manager was very Apologetic and quickly prioritized my satisfaction and promptly fixed me up. I use to work for McDonald's growing up in my younger teen years. I know how frustrating it can get when simplicity fails. It happens. No I didn't get sick or anything outrageous. I appreciate the quick response and sincerity about your customers.”

“This place is a hidden gem in Galveston on Strand St. My wife and I were in Galveston for an event and stumbled across this place. It was wonderful in so many ways. The chef helped us understand the menu and suggested a few things. The pepperoni poppers were awesome. We had never hand anything like them. We could have just kept eating them forever. I got the corn dog, which at $6.95 seem high, but the thing was HUGE and I could barely eat the whole thing. It was the best corn dog I had ever eaten and worth the price (and more). My wife had a burger which was also very good. The chef was enjoyable to talk with and he enjoyed us eating his food as much as we liked eating it. This is a "must go" place for your trip to Galveston.”

“Cool place, owner was really sweet. They have veggie/vegan options which is cool cause in Galveston sometimes it’s hard to find that option. Only grievance was almond milk was $1.00 extra when every coffee shop I’ve been to (not Starbucks) is .75 cents max, maybe the option is just not as popular making it a lil expensive. But overall it was a good experience and I’d return again :,)”
