“This Shell station us one of the ones you come across right after you come into the island. It's clean and staff is courteous and well trained on how to handle any situation. A storm knocked out the power and staff was on point, no missing a beat. There a good number if pumps all easily accessible and automated for convenience. Parking lot was clean considering the fast food restaurant attached as well as the bathrooms. Definitely a safe and welcomed gas choice.”

“Excellent spot brunch! We ate outside on the picnic tables with our dog. Ordered inside, and they brought our food out when it was ready. The migas were excellent, with great potatoes and refried beans. My wife had a toasted ham and cheese sandwich that was large and delicious. Highly recommend this hidden gem.”

We ordered a few different items and drinks because I like to get a full experience and I was taken for an adventure! Ricardo was the bartender I originally ordered drinks for but wanted him at our table and we got him!! Great personality and made the experience even more worth it! “What a fantastic place. You can so easily pass it up & never know what a gem you missed. Hands down the best muffuletta I’ve ever tried. Gumbo delicious too. Service was fantastic & so many cool spices & Italian items to buy. I once owned a Italian restaurant & we used the best tomato sauce we could find -STANISLAUS TOMATOES. I’ve never seen it sold in stores & this places has it. They also has a great selection of black & white truffle sauces - that I can’t wait to try. Definitely check this place out.”

“When I was here it was their 5th day open. Very friendly team working. Cost was on the high side for you get. I got the Philly sandwich and their homemade chips. Again please keep in mind that they just opened and I would assume this is only going to get better. The sandwich was tasty, but lacked more beef and the cheese amount was on the heavy side. Bread was good that they use. The chips were salty and when put in the bag were about 40& soggy. Those chips are very promising though once they get it dialed in. A small line began to form while I was eating so I didn't get to give any feedback to the owner. I'll be back. Hope that either the prices come down or they build the sandwich up to reflect the $14 price. Chips at $7 was too high for the amount you get. I think this will get better. Very nice folks and I wish them well. I will be back in the next month to see how they're doing and if they added more to their menu.”

“I went to the Pelican last night for the first time and had a great time. My experience was limited but good. I went for a drinks and appetizers only gathering with a group. The crab cakes very yummy and mostly crab. The once private club has undergone a re-boot. They have a new chef and menu and I will go back to try the full dinner.”

“Had an amazing lunch at Shucks Tavern today. Ordered the lunch special of Chicken Fried Chicken which came with a house salad (plentiful) which had a wonderful house dressing. The chicken was cooked perfectly and was a big portion that I shared with my companion. I ordered the fries and green beans as sides and absolutely loved them. Dessert was delicious as well. Our server was highly attentive and pleasant. In addition the tavern is very clean with beautiful decor. Truly loved the upscale vibe. We Truly loved our lunch experience and left stuffed!!! Can’t wait to return.”
