Original Napoli Pizza & Pasta

Address: 14743 Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77079, USA

Restaurant

“I can’t believe this place has been under my nose for 33 years and I’m just trying it for the first time! Cozy Italian restaurant with booth and table seating inside plus a small outdoor seating. It’s a walk up order style but the bring the food to your table. Great service. I had the Caesar salad to start. They put carrot shreds in theirs. Interesting, as I’ve never seen carrots in a Caesar salad. It was good. For my meal, I had the Pasta Napoli. A zesty blend of basil sauce with a splash of alfredo sauce & fresh mushrooms. Served over ziti pasta. Bread is served with each dish. We also tried the fried mozzarella. These bad boys were huge! I have never seen mozzarella that big. Very tasty! The atmosphere is charming and the service is terrific! We met the owner, “Papa Zack”. He was very friendly and dubbed his food as “Texas Italy” because the portions are so big. They truly are big. I had 2-1/2 meals off mine. The pizza at other tables looked delicious and I can’t wait to try their soups. Will return soon! Apparently, Papa Zack is adding burgers to the menu. There’s a small space to the right of the main restaurant that will be for burger orders, as best I can tell. If he does Italian food this good and adds burgers, this place will be unstoppable! I will want to try the new addition as well!”

Norah's Restaurant

Address: 14520 Memorial Dr # 112, Houston, TX 77079, USA

Restaurant

“An exceptional gastronomic experience! We visited this charming restaurant specializing in paellas and pastas and were completely impressed. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm welcome and a cozy atmosphere. Chef Martinez and his team truly outdid themselves with every dish we tried. The paellas were bursting with authentic flavors, and the fresh ingredients made each bite a delight for the palate. Additionally, the pastas were perfectly cooked and paired with sauces that wonderfully enhanced their flavor. What really impressed us was the personal touch that Chef Martinez brings to each dish. You can feel the love and dedication he puts into his cooking, and it shines through in every detail. This restaurant has definitely become one of our favorites. Thank you, Chef Martinez, for an unforgettable culinary experience!”

Craw Daddy Co

Address: 1085 Gessner Rd, Houston, TX 77055, USA

Restaurant

The Pit Room

Address: 10301-A Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77024, USA

Restaurant

“After eagerly anticipating its opening, I finally tried The Pit Room for the first time. I opted for a 2-meat plate featuring ribs, brisket, green beans, and corn. The ribs stole the show with their perfectly seasoned pepper coating. While the brisket boasted good flavor, some pieces were a tad too salty, though not as overwhelming as Coopers (Llano). The corn offered a unique and delicious twist, and the green beans had a delightful Pit Room flair. Despite the slight hiccup with the brisket, I would definitely return, especially since it's conveniently located next to Fishing Tackle Unlimited, which adds to the experience.”

Via 313 Pizza

Address: 10201 Katy Fwy Ste 350, Houston, TX 77024, USA

Restaurant

“I had an amazing experience at Via 313! From entering the restaurant and leaving, everyone was so kind and helpful. For pizza I ordered the Ambassador Bridge with hot honey. It was my very first time having Detroit style pizza and it didn’t disappoint. You HAVE to get it with the hot honey! Never had honey on my pizza but that changed by life. I loved how all the slices are cut into squares too. As for appetizers we ordered the marinara with meatballs, roasted artichoke and the cheese sticks. Everything was made fresh and seasoned and the cheese was oh so ooey gooey delicious! To finish off with deserts we had the rocky road hub cap and the cinnamon sticks. The hub cap was the perfect size, with vanilla bean ice cream that wasn’t too sweet to offset the sweetness of the hubcap. Cinnamon stickers were yummy too! I just wanna give a shout out to Will for being such an attentive thoughtful server :) We will be back next time!”

“Cute office cafe! In the building 1st floor but open to the public. Got a loaded gyro and added bacon bits and jalapeños 🫣. This thing was so loaded by the time I ate the sandwich so many toppings fell out that I basically had gyro loaded fries 😆. I’m so full I don’t think I can eat again today🫃🏻”

#1 KING SEAFOOD

Address: 12161 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079, USA

Restaurant

“Stopped in here on a whim & and I'm really glad we did. It didn't have many reviews but was highly rated, so I said, "Let's see." Well, they've been open only about 2-3 months, so thats why there aren't many reviews, but you must try them out. The food was excellent! Menu pretty simple, service great, and you can't beat the amount of food for the money. We had blackened tilapia, fried tilapia w/ shrimp, fries, fried rice, and 2 bottled NA beverages and didn't even spend $30! The fried items were fried hard just the way I like it and was so fresh. We talked for a bit, and the food was still hot and flavorful. This place is connected to the Ramen house/sushi bar next door, which I thought was pretty cool. The place is small, very clean and staff very attentive. We will definitely be back.”

Sushi Ichii

Address: 20900 Katy Fwy N, Houston, TX 77449, USA

Restaurant

“Nut allergy warning: They have a peanut avocado roll, so suggest informing your server to make rolls separately. We arrived at 11:50 AM on a Saturday morning and it was relatively empty. Got much fuller toward 1 PM. Service was quite fast and remained pretty fast throughout our 2-3 orders. We got our first food within 10 minutes of ordering and I don't think it ever took more than 15 minutes between ordering a roll and receiving it. For 3 people, we ordered a total: 3 Miso Soup 2 Seaweed Salad 2 Edamame 1 Jalapeno Bomb 2 Coconut Shrimp 2 Pepper Tuna 3 piece White Tuna Sushi 3 piece Red Snapper Sushi 3 piece Salmon Sushi 7 Teriyaki Red Snapper 1 Rainbow Roll 1 Tuna Special Roll 1 Eel Avocado Roll 2 Eggplant Tempura 3 Tuna Tataki 1 Alaska Roll 1 Cow Boy Roll 1 Luna Tuna Roll Various ice creams Overall, we enjoyed that the rolls weren't too heavy on the rice, but the lunch menu didn't have many special roll options that weren't spicy or fried or with jalapeno. There are no sashimi options on the lunch menu and the nigiri are very rice heavy. So although the lunch option is cheaper, I would say it's not worth the loss of these options. A couple other misses: -The cold water tasted a bit off. I eventually just ordered a hot green tea and other people in my party got hot water. -The restrooms were missing paper towels and when we let them know, it wasn't fixed.”

Ye's Kitchen Asian Fusion

Address: 12620 Woodforest Blvd #400, Houston, TX 77015, USA

Restaurant

“Today I tried Ye's Kitchen on Woodforest Blvd. Houston, Texas. This restaurant was formally known as Spring China Cafe. I went in during lunchtime and was told they didn't serve lunch specials on the weekend. I ordered Chef's Special #CS1. General Tso's Chicken for $12.50 & I also ordered a pork egg roll for $1.50 my total was $15.16. The chicken was very good it was not too spicy and the crust was still kinda crisp on the outside and not dry at all. The sauce was great the meal was served with broccoli. The rice was not that good it was a little over cooked/mushy. I ordered the fried rice and it tasted like plain regular white rice. The pork egg roll was delicious. I enjoyed my meal and will try Ye's Kitchen again they have many options on the menu.”

Jūn

Address: 420 E 20th St Suite A, Houston, TX 77008, USA

Restaurant

“My partner and I went to Jūn in early January (1/19) to celebrate her birthday and our experience was mixed. We ordered- Cocktails: Sweater Weather and Christmas in Jūn Snack: House Made Pickles Raw: Oysters Vegetable: Persimmon, Carrots, and Cauliflower Protein: Mussels and Whole Fish For the above, we paid $245. Overall, the vegetable dishes were each amazing - I could go on about the smokiness of the carrots, the balance of sweet and hot with the persimmon dish, and the cauliflower was likely the best dish of the night. The oysters were quite good and the cocktails were creative and festive. Other reviews seem to rate the pickles highly, but our experience was that the pickles themselves were good but the pickled blackberries and broccoli were far too sour. However, both of the proteins were so-so. The mussels were delivered well but I think that curry with mussels makes the dish too heavy. This could simply be my taste. The whole fish, however, is not well conceived. The fish itself is seasoned well but plain and slightly dry. It comes with a mint chutney which is so strong that you cannot pair more than a toothpick's worth with the fish if you wish to taste the fish. The salad that comes with the dish is boring and adds nothing to the plate. The yogurt in the description is seemingly undiscovered. The service was kind and communicative, but our dishes took nearly two hours to all come out. Our second cocktail was earnestly ordered out of boredom. The ambiance was good but the lighting was too low, and I (28 y/o, not blind) had a hard time seeing certain dishes very well and we had to keep reorienting the solitary candle which allowed us to see. It's a restaurant, not Death & Co.”

CAVA

Address: 250 W 20th St #400, Houston, TX 77008, USA

Restaurant

“CAVA is an exciting blend of fast-paced dining and authentic Mediterranean cuisine. The variety they offer is remarkable, catering to both traditional and adventurous tastes. The food is excellently prepared and served in generous portions. The staff is friendly, attentive, and helpful in making recommendations. What stands out the most, however, is the taste. Each dish is a perfect balance of vibrant flavors, celebrating the freshness and authenticity of Mediterranean cuisine. In summary, CAVA is more than a fast food place. It's a delightful culinary journey through the Mediterranean. 😂 A definite five-star experience!”

The Bean Bus

Address: 2001 Karbach St Suite K, Houston, TX 77092, USA

Restaurant

Atomic Wings

Address: 11200 Northwest Fwy, Houston, TX 77092, USA

Restaurant

“Decided to stop by and try it out, it has a nice little layout with seating that looks out towards the freeway which is nice. With a few more tables around the entrance. Staff was friendly and food was brought out promptly. I ordered lemon pepper and buffalo mild mixed in together, and as seen it wasn’t mixed and lacked lemon pepper or sauce, and was a little greasy. The wings were pretty small in size, but the meat did come right off the bone very smooth and rich in the flavor it did have. For the fries, they were delicious, crispy and cooked to perfection, the only down side was the quantity and wished they came with a few more, but the size and taste made up for that. My meal cost about $22 and feel like the value wasn’t there for what I got. I would like to try other things on the menu which looked delicious.”

Karbach Brewing Co.

Address: 2032 Karbach St, Houston, TX 77092, USA

Restaurant

“ALWAYS DELICIOUS!!! Karbach Brewing Co. Is about 6 blocks from my office so I come here quite often. Everything on the menu is delicious. I would call them "artisan". I usually have the fish and chips or the Karbach Burger. If you can, do a flight of beers. You won't be disappointed. Karbach is a great place to do business also.”

The friendly chef, passionate about their craft, adds a personal touch, leaving you with a satisfying and flavorful food truck adventure.”

Salad and Go

Address: 3000 N Durham Dr, Houston, TX 77018, USA

Restaurant

“This is a drive-through only; soup, salad, wrap restaurant. I swung through early morning on my way to work. There have a pretty decent menu for such a limited scope of items. I tried a southwest breakfast burrito. Has eggs, cheese, turkey sausage, and roasted poblano peppers. It comes with your choice of either red or green salsa. It was my first time so I paid extra to try both. Only con I could complain about would be the turkey sausage. Absolutely flavorless. The rest of the burrito was good, just could not taste sausage at all. There was plenty in the burrito, just no flavor. I prefer the red salsa between the two. It had more of a fresh flavor. I also ordered the Arnold Palmer with cucumber and mint. All for a little over $5. A pretty good breakfast.”
