“Love this place. Service great, owner Linda is a sweet lady. She will remember you after meeting you. Nice little bar to get away and just meet up with friends and shoot some pool or do their karaoke. Live music and lots of fun.”

“Should have taken a photo of our food but we were hungry. My husband and I both got a 2 meat plate, that came with 2 sides and bread. I got the sausage and pulled pork with sweet potatoes and greens. Hubs got the brisket and turkey with green beans and greens and we both got the jalapeno corn bread. The food was amazing, moist, and full of delicious flavor. The corn bread was a huge hunk, so it was filling. The price was perfect and the service was quick and friendly! I recommend this place and will return. It is a hidden gem for sure.”

“This restaurant really impressed all of us. I went here with a group of friends based on good reviews. We had shrimp tempura and a octopus balls appetizers. The shrimp tempura was a little spicy and sweet with a crispy crunch. The octopus balls were a unique combination of flavors and textures - very enjoyable. For my entree I had the chef special With vegetable noodles. I ordered the spiciest level and really enjoyed it. The vegetable noodles were also quite good and had a firm texture which made the fun to eat. The kale leaves were scorched in the edges which added another contrasting flavor. The crowd was made up of all ages and nationalities and the restaurant was mostly full but not crowded. Give JINYA a try and I don’t think you will regret it!”

“Always delicious. Zoe's is the perfect place to try something new, or just have that same tasty meal that you always seem to order. The Moroccan chicken piadina is one my my favorites. Turmeric rice seems to be hit or miss but they're getting better”

“I found a gem. Love, love this place. The food is great and the staff are friendly. Vegan and vegetarian selections. My only negative is the small portions, then again I'm greedy. Good food, clean restaurant and family friendly.”

“Had a MOD with white sauce and assorted meats and veggies. All of which looked and tasted fresh and wonderful. The staff was friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed this location, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good pizza at a reasonable price.”

“Enjoyed the place. The staff was friendly. Place was clean. Food was delicious. They even had chicken nuggets for my kid who doesn't eat anything else. Win win for us. Outside seating is available and they serve drinks.????”

“Great customer service and hot and fresh food. Today was my first time visiting the restaurant. Wanted a good homemade burger and Jax Burger came up on my Google places near me. I love the sesame seeds buns and the burger was moist and delicious. I like the homemade French fries as well. Wish they would have substituted the drink for a shake. Overall I give them 5 stars for taste, looks and service.”

“OK stopped in for some tamales just passing by and immediately got excited. Josh and his colleague are very welcoming and made sure we knew what we were buying. I had the beef and pork and my sister had the spinach and corn. They were all really delicious and mine had a bit of a kick. Really tasty tamales. Will be back to try more goodies, but make sure you find this hidden treasure from the street... it's nestled in the back. We literally ran to the car to eat because it started sprinkling, but man! Great job granny! I'm a fan!”

“The facility is a bit small as a venue. Went here for a comedy show. The layout is awkward for the amount t of chairs they placed in there. It was uncomfortable to get a drink or go to bathroom as you would have to walk directly up to the stage to get by. The cold brew was amazing very high quality.”

“Absolutely a fantastic place to grab some food and a few adult beverages. It's a house that's been converted into a bar with a library, meeting rooms, a pool outside, and lots of room to spread out and enjoy yourself. Make sure to check out their wall of honor. Great waitstaff and prompt service with delicious food and drinks. Go check it out!”

“Delicious! I ordered the ABC sandwich, thinking I'd ordered a hamburger. The Avocado Bacon Cheese sandwich was incredibly good, though. Great service. You can taste the homemade flavor in the food. Nice to have a large ice cream selection AND fudge AND desserts to choose from, too. I know Galveston has spots w similar options but this is much more cozy. (I ate so quickly I was halfway thru w meal before remembering to take pics. )”

“This is an excellent small dining experience. Large portrait windows flood the space with light. The portions are great and all at a very good price. This is my burrito and it was so BIG, I couldn't finish it.”

“First time at Corkscrew, but definitely won’t be the last! Place begins serving at 11, but its best to get there as early as you can to get a number. This guarantees you your place in line. You will be thankful, cause the line gets long... fast!!!! As far as the food... outstanding in every way! The brisket has that nice bark and is so tender it was hard to pick up with the fork. Link sausage was spiced so nicely I was wanting more! The ribs fell off of the bone and were so delicious! Many joints, the sides are just an afterthought!! Not at Corkscrew! A lot of thought and care went into these! The baked beans were peppery yet yummy and the coleslaw was among the best I’ve ever had. Finish off your meal with their peach cobbler!!!!”

“I ordered a Light Afternoon Tea for 4 and a gluten free chicken salad sandwich to go for a luncheon at work. The food was fantastic and everyone loved it. The only downside was that this was a surprise luncheon for a coworkers birthday and it was almost ruined because I didn't get the food until 30 min after the scheduled pickup time. Regardless of that everyone was very nice and I look forward to coming in again.”

“Just went there last weekend while attending the Texas Wine & Art Festival in Old Town Spring. My wife and I ordered the hamburger steak plate which was really good. Mine was with mashed potatoes and green beans while hers had mashed potatoes and mac & cheese. Really good rolls too! We'll definitely be back the next time we're there! On another note, it's too bad the Wunsche Bros restaurant had not reopened (the place caught on fire about 4 years ago), since their food was also very delicious when we visited the place about 5 years ago.”

“I normally love IHOP but this place left something to be desired. They didn't have kids menus or crayons which wasn't a huge issue for me, but not offering my goddaughter a chair, then having to go get it yourself was a little agitating. The table wasn't clean and they seemed a little understaffed.”
