“I recently tried El Tiempo for the first time and had a great experience. Despite being the busy dinner rush, the service was great. Drinks came promptly and the table was checked on often. I am typically not a huge fajita fan, but they were recommended and were fantastic. I ordered the quarter pound of beef and chicken which was plenty for one. The chicken was super tender and the beef was perfectly cooked. The real kicker is the side of butter-garlic sauce that comes with the order. Dip everything in it. And I mean everything! It is a little bowl of heaven. Plus, the freshly made tortillas are the icing on the cake. Parking at this location can be a little crazy during busy times, so take advantage of the complimentary valet. I will definitely be back to have the fajitas again!”

“Truly a great steaks! Bit of a wait to get a table; but unless you are in a hurry - wait...it's worth it. We had a young waiter named Dane who was excellent! Courteous and attentive young man with something I've always asked for in my wait staff; sense of humor! Dane surely had it; even when I re-named him the Great-Dane! I was not annoying and showing up in the middle of our conversations; yet he was always right there when needed. Food arrived fast, my center-cut 6oz. Filet (23.99) was perfectly cooked medium, moist and tender. I had asparagus as my side dish...bit overcooked, but tasty. My companion had the stuffed mushrooms (7.99) which is enough to share or to have as a entree (if you like mushrooms that much!) He had the 8oz. center-cut Top Sirloin, (18.99) cooked medium, tender and nicely marbled. He also had a fully loaded baked potato (one of the sides) and a salad. My allergies prevent me from eating many things; like gluten and dairy and Great-Dane was well informed as to other choices I could have. All in all; for about $55 including drinks - it was a great meal, good service and a true Texas atmosphere!”

“We love Alpine. They have the sourest of sauerkraut which we love, wonderful German potato salad, sour/flavorful, great red cabbage that is sweet to balance out the sour and AWESOME schnitzel. We also had the stuffed cabbage to go. OMG Yum I wish there were more! It only comes with one roll but I think it should come with two for the price, not a complaint just something to think on. We love Alpine!”

“My preferred location in the area. Better seating plan than most and fewer blaring TVs. The wait during lunch is longer on school breaks but blame the new play space behind them. “1st time customer, and enjoyed the place and the amount of choices on the menu. As a 1st time customer, we were treated to a free sample of the fried pickle spears, and even though I'm not a big fan of them... they were good. I had a grilled chicken sandwich with bacon, and tots! I really enjoyed it, and it had a good flavor. My friend had the Lemon Pepper Wings, and when she tried them, said they were heavy seasoned, and were difficult to eat. I asked her to send them back or get others, but she didn't want to, so this could just have been a rare occasion. If in the area, and looking for a chicken joint to kick it and watch sports... this place will fill the need. I could see myself coming back on a future visit to the area. 4 of 5 stars only because this was my first visit, and only can judge by 1 meal. Could consider changing review on a future visit to this location.”

“I have been to many Hooters in my time and this Hooter's was lacking on it's friendliness from the staff from the moment that we walked in. There was no hostess we waited there for five minutes while the rest of the hooter staff just looked at us but didn't acknowledge us. The food was like any other Hooters I can't say anything bad about that which is the reason we went there in the first place and the ambiance after we were seated is the same as any other Hooters. Waitress was actually a very good waitress.”

“A $12 dollar chopped beef sandwich, come on! I pulled off the expressway to a Coney island sign because I had a craving but it was not there! Pulled around at Pappas & said what the heck I'll try a sandwich & a chopped beef was $12 with tax! It was edible but had to ask for onions & pickles! I could have had better sandwich at most any meat market in the area for half that! Location location I guess! It is getting where it is a budget decision to eat at some if these places!”
