“Although there’s plenty of pizza spots in the area - this is the one you will keep thinking about! Delicious pie and a really nice owner. So happy to have them in town.”

“Hudson's on Mercer is your quintessential neighborhood bar – neither exceptional nor disappointing. If you're looking for a spot to catch a football game, it does the job, but it won't wow you. Hence, it comfortably earns its 4 out of 5 stars. One of Hudson's redeeming features is its willingness to broadcast sports events. It's an average bar for watching football; the screens are decent-sized, and they make an effort to create a game-day atmosphere. If you're with friends who love sports, it's a decent choice. Live music is another facet of Hudson's charm. It adds a bit of pizzazz to the otherwise laid-back atmosphere. While the tunes are enjoyable, they can get a tad loud, making conversation a challenge. One drawback is the lighting – it's way too dark. Perhaps they're aiming for a cozy ambiance, but it often feels like you need a flashlight to read the menu. It's an odd choice, considering it's primarily a sports bar. When it comes to drinks and food, Hudson's plays it safe. The menu offers the usual suspects without any particularly unique options. However, they execute these staples well, ensuring you won't leave disappointed. In a nutshell, Hudson's on Mercer is a reliable but unexceptional bar. It won't stand out in a city teeming with nightlife options, but it's not a place you'd regret visiting either. If you're looking for a no-frills spot to unwind with friends and catch a game or enjoy some live music, Hudson's fits the bill perfectly. Hence, the 4-star rating – it's nothing special, but it's far from a letdown.”

“Fairlane is wonderful for a latte but is a bit pricey! Almost $8 for an oat milk latte. I had a sugar free almond and cherry latte with oat milk and it was really really good. These tacos are in the parking lot in a food truck and are wonderful! Solid price too - I got 9 for $37 dollars. We got some breakfast like potato, egg and cheese and chorizo, egg and cheese and then pastor, carne asada, a mix of pastor and chorizo taco. All of them were awesome, fresh, tasted good and would get them again. Also, serve breakfast tacos till 12 which you never see in Drip! Will be back!”

“We were looking for a place to watch the Horns and entertain the family. A local st another bar recommended this place. We had an absolute blast. The bar has tons of beer on tap for you to choose from. The outdoor seating area is covered and huge. There is so much for the kids to be entertained with: board games, pickle ball, mini golf, playground, splash pad...the food was pretty decent.”

“I love anytime I can get out to the Hill Country, and going to Texas Hill Country Olive Co. is one of my new favorite spots. I recently discovered The Bistro! I had baked Feta for a small bite (roasted olives, yum!) and the Orchard Grilled Cheese for my entree. All of it was perfectly cooked! Highly recommend!”

“Decided to try out Sidecar on a whim without expecting much more than a quiet night out with my man. Instantly we were impressed with the atmosphere and the bartender went over and above to make us feel welcome. After a brief stint trying a small number of the delicious selection of wines, the live music started, blowing us away with his skill and the overall volume, not overwhelming but still clearly audible. Overall, Sidecar is a fantastic place and we’re luck to live to close to such a fine establishment. Highly recommend, a well earned 5 stars.”

“Love this place! So happy to have an Indian food spot right in dripping. The people who work here are very friendly and the food is so delicious! Food is take out only and stays hot when you get home. Meals are a fair price + is very flavourful. Will definitely come back to this place again and again.”

“So glad to have another pizza option here in Dripping Springs. Rarely do you find a place where the food you get looks like the picture on the website. This is the place! We have ordered 3 different pizzas and salad. The Chef salad is crazy good. All the pizza we have tried was really good, both specialty and simple pepperoni. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good pizza option at a good price. We'll be back for sure!”

“Great food! Family owned business. It's popular and their food is good. Be patient with them if they run short. It's worth the wait! Wish I'd taken a photo of my delicious Ruben. It's really enough to share. Varied menu. Something delicious for everyone.”

“I cannot thank Abby Jane Bakeshop enough for truly delicious mini pies for our wedding! The staff is amazing-- incredible communication with us and the result was far beyond anything we could have asked for. The chocolate mousse pie was rich and smooth, while the key lime pie was perfectly tart and the crust added a perfect crunch to the filling. We were absolutely blown away by their professionalism, skills, and product. We even had guests stealing pies from other guests to take them home. They have made lifelong customers out of us and we cannot thank them enough.”

“Great small brewery. This place is in the middle of nowhere and is always busy. Get there early before the good stuff is sold out. Selection of beer is always changing and very, very good. The facility is a picturesque Texas Hill Country Venue with a very genuine atmosphere. The "Cherry on top of the cake" is the two couples that own the business. They are down to earth, happy, helpful and energetic. This is what a small family owned business should be. Keep up the great work.”

“Had the Belgian Witbier (after coming from the winery next door) and absolutely loved it! Flights of four pours were $10, though I think they only had 6 or 7 beers to choose from at the time. Overall, cute little house with a nice porch and wooden swing outside.”

“KO's Café has for the first time opened for the public recently. We tried almost all the menu items and found out that Chef Greg fare is meticulously made with mostly fresh ingredients and tastes delicious. If you want to try gourmets dishes in the Dripping Springs area, you're in luck. To order, head over to their Facebook page, select à la carte or the meal packages and use FB Messenger to send your order 24 hours ahead. Chef Greg is very knowledgeable and pretty accommodating if you have specific needs or want to substitute items. We highly recommend Chef Greg and KO's Café. Bravo.”

“Our family has been trying to support a local business once or twice a week for the past month and a half. We are fairly new to the area and during a google search discovered Suds Monkey. So glad we found them!! We have had delivery twice and each time the driver was super friendly. They wear a mask and gloves and will even do ’no contact’ delivery to make their customers feel comfortable. Everything we have ordered was very good and made with quality ingredients. We have tried their cheese pizza, stingray, and challenger pizza. All were delicious. Garlic knots were amazing and the ‘Ella Rolls were sooo good! Seriously! Also ordered the House Salad which was very fresh. We have tried the Monkey Tail Pale Ale and it was good! If you are able to support local restaurants/businesses during this time, PLEASE consider Suds Monkey. They are amazing and you will not be disappointed!!”

“I like this place. You can sample all the balsamic vinegars and some of the olive oils. The only thing they were out of some of the balsamic vinegars that I most liked. Beautiful countryside and will be beautiful come spring to do a tour when the olive trees are in bloom. Very helpful and friendly employees. Didn't get a chance to eat lunch there but the smell was delightful. Do not cater to gluten free. Quite a ways out there but truly worth the trip”

“Can't say enough about this delightful restaurant. The food was wonderful, everything from the too hot to eat honey cornbread biscuits, to the cocktails and main course. The drive out for us was at dusk and it was beautiful and relaxing. A fantastic all around experience and every bit worth the drive.”

“We really like El Ray. We go every other week and all their food is great, especially for the price. Best Mexican Food value around Austin in our opinion. My only suggested improvement is that the service is hit or miss. Totally depends on the server you get. But we expect this and simply enjoy our own company a bit more at times. Our kids love the enchiladas.”

“It's a healthy option in Dripping Springs. However, they close unexpectedly often and are not always open during their posted hours. There's low staffing, although the staff is nice. The management tells customers that sometimes they don't get a truck of fresh food when scheduled all the time and that's why they close when their hoirs are posted. I've been their a few times when they were out of a half of their menu.”
