“Good store. Sandwiches are made fresh to order. Cold meats are cut in store to order. The employees are kind and helpful. The hot sandwiches that have grilled peppers are amazing. You can ask to hold onions and still have the grilled peppers. Service is prompt and the store is fairly clean.”

“Wow! Cocktails good, caesar salad worked, Vietnamese seasoned steak was u n b e l i e v a ble!!!!! Great flavors… rich salty, seasoned, great asian veggies and fried rice. Taste buds are loving this right now. The restaurant was busy on Tuesday night (tells you a lot!) so took a little bit of time to prepare. The waiter kept the wine flowing so all good. I think patience is a virtue. I envy the lucky residents of Lubbock. Will be back!”

“Super nice staff. Knowledgeable bartender. Great food selection. I ordered the flat iron steak salad and it was good but my medium rare steak came out more medium well and was a bit chewy. Could have just been the meat and not the cook. The chimichurri sauce was great. Good selection of wine and again, superb bartender and staff.”

“I was with a group so got to sample several shareables before our meal. The charcuterie board was excellent with fantastic portions and a nice variety. The cheesy artichoke dip was pure decadence and I had to pass it down the table before I was tempted to eat it all. Salads were healthy portions and the bruschetta and brie dishes were nice as well. I ordered the pappardelle, with some shrimp added, and it was good. The sundried tomatoes and kale gave it a good flavor. There was more oil in the dish than I like, but that's personal preference. Lots of energy in the room and people seemed to be having a good time. And I have to mention that the live music was fantastic. I wish I had gotten his name. We all commented on how good he was.”

“Great enjoyable meal. Marinara was on the watery side. I hope it was a bad night because they used to have an amazing thick sauce. (This is the reason for 4 stars). Environment was lively and energetic. Staff was friendly and worked hard. Caesar salad was good, next time I will ask for my dressing on the side since I like it on the lighter side.”

“La Diosa Cellars in Lubbock has a cool vibe. The risotto mi lalita (mushroom risotto) was pretty good but sadly the crab cakes weren’t good with the excessive citrus sauce. Great wine selection here.”

“I never saw a Whistlin' Dixie BBQ Trailer at this location. Maybe it's an old location. I don't know. It's now a Ranch House restaurant. Huge portions with great pricing and friendly staff. I ate alone but didn't feel alone because of the staff. I would visit again based on that alone. The coffee is exceptional and the pancakes are big and fluffy!”

“Showed up thinking we had an hour until close, but they were only open another 10 minutes. I've worked as a server, and we all hate that, but I'd been on the road all day and STARVING. Disappointed to have missed last call, we ordered quickly and tried to keep it fast and easy for the kitchen. This was the best restaurant beef brisket I've ever eaten in my life. Everything was PERFECT. AND AT CLOSING!!! Our server was attentive and accommodating, even after hours. This place is worth the drive to Lubbock, TX. Seriously good eats, great hospitality, beautiful atmosphere.”

“This was my first trip, so I wanted to be a bit more thorough in my comments. Two people with a drink each was about $100 including tip. The building is very eclectic and a bit dated in it's furnishings. The booth seats were a somewhat lower than expected. We were helped by a very nice young lady, Tatum. She was patient and put up with my corny puns etc. She was the highlight of our experience. It went down from there. Our food came out randomly; entree and appetizers came together then our salads came last. I ordered a steak, medium rare, but it was more rare and not rested. The food was brought by another person and we were never asked about any steak sauce or if the steaks were properly cooked. We asked to see a manager but never got an answer about that. Finally Tatum came and asked how everything was but we were basically done. So, not a great experience.”

“Went here right now and had a very good experience. Very crowded and for a good reason. The food is good. Excellent staff. Had pecan pie and buttermilk pie. All the other pies got over. Food came out quick. Definitely recommend this place to anyone. The food was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. Delicious”

“We stopped in here before a 7:30 show at Buddy Holly Hall. 5:15 was a perfect arrival time to make it to the show comfortably. Our server, David, made sure to keep our plans in mind. The Nicolett serves 3-course meals with various choices for each courses, with the option to skip one or more courses. We had all three courses, bread service beforehand, plus cocktails. The waitstaff took excellent care of us during our visit. David was awesome (as were the rest of the staff) and the food was delicious and high-quality. This place is defintiely in my top 3 (maybe 1 or 2?) or so favorite restaurants in Lubbock.”

“Stopped here while I was in Lubbock last week to grab something quick for breakfast. Got the bacon, egg & cheese burrito w/pico. It was delicious, but that's not the real story. A couple of days later I saw that I had been overcharged on my credit card. It turns out somebody accidentally put the decimal point in the wrong place, causing my $5 burrito to significantly increase in value. Polly's is closed on the weekend so I had to wait until Monday to contact them. When I called to let them know what happened they immediately rectified the issue & credited my account. The people I spoke to on the phone could not have been nicer or provided better customer service. Thanks again to Polly's staff for solving the problem quickly & professionally. I would highly recommend Polly's for the great breakfast burritos & excellent customer service!”

“Great food for a great price! Becoming regular customers because of how good and fast the food is. The tables are clean, atmosphere welcoming and friendly staff. Always look for the specials, they offer great deals! Usually around $5-8 per plate. Slightly difficult to find, next door to the subway.”

“Have to say was skeptical. But will give this place hands down one of the best Mexican restaurants I've eaten at. Can tell everything is homemade from the hot sauce to the tortillas chips to the tortillas. My new hole in the wall place. The menu will definitely make you want to coke back will highly recommend the birria tacos.”

“I was on my way to deliver 🚛 when I stumbled across this Hidden Gem. Friendly staff excellent customer service I asked Tasha what does she recommend for a first timer and she was very helpful explaining what she like and what other customers have told her they enjoy. My eyes were bigger than my stomach before I knew it I had a taste of everything the well seasoned burgers 🍔 with toasted buns buttered down home style cooking yep I’m back in Texas baby!!! I also got the Brisket sandwich with the signature BBQ sauce it was so moist They know how to make the meat!!! Ribs were bomb I had a wonderful experience and the funnel cake was the icing on mine. Thank you Tasha for your hospitality and service. I will definitely return!!!!”

“Upon arrival, we were greeted with a smile and have to say very well taken care of. Our waitress, freaking awesome!!!! We ordered chile relleno with a side of Mexican papas for my wife and a plate of enchiladas also with a side of Mexican papas and mac&cheese for myself. They were very well tasting with a small kick of spiciness but I could not finish them as I hardly eat spicy food but the taste was great! The service was awesome and I would definitely go back to this establishment if I am ever back in this town.”

“The grill was not operational during my visit, so the A&W items were not available. Not a big deal, but there were no notifications to inform customers of the inconvenience. The fish was alright but seemed as if it had been made awhile before I received it since it was barely warm.”

“When they are on, one of the best burgers....HOWEVER, when they aren't on... they're still pretty good! ****EDIT**** I went today 8-11-22. He handed me my order and said..."Mr. Marc... those onion rings are fresh... and they were! Hot, crunchy, and delicious. There's nothing worse than soggy rings. The batter didn't fall off when you bite into them. Most importantly.... kind, friendly people in a world where businesses don't think customer service is important. Thank you!”
