“This place is delicious! Everything was fresh and they have good salsa too. You can tell a lot of pride is taken in the food they make. This is my first time but the gorditas are my favorite so far. The nachos were also really good. The tortilla chips tasted like they were fried in house. If I think about it, it taste like everything is made on site, this is to include the salsa. For the price you get really good portions. Definently coming back for this food, 20 minutes is not to far to drive. It is a good trailer and they had about 4 to 5 tables to eat at. Everything was really clean.”

“The food and atmosphere was great. Had a good time eating with my family. Our waiter was awesome. My mother in law and I had the cotton picker sub, *highly recommend. Father in law had the grinder, which he said was great too. The kids had the 14 in pepperoni pizza which they munched down. $2.75 for the draft beer. Good pricing. Try their garlic cheese bread. Awesome sauce.”

“I really really really love Popeye's and I probably eat there more than the average person. I have never had a bad experience with a Popeyes per se', however I did have an experience that stood out to me. I was visiting the Popeyes and their customer service was spot on. I was a dine in customer and the staff came by and checked on me, asked if I needed anything, and was over all very attentive to the needs of all of the customers who had decided to dine in that day. The staff appeared to be very friendly towards one another, almost like family. It was obvious they all got along (or they could pretend very well). The manager was training, what appeared to be a new employee and he too was very friendly and customer service oriented. Like I said, I don't remember ever having a bad experience, but this was an experience that went above and beyond what I would expect from a fast food restaurant. They seem to have great leadership and direction in my opinion.”

“After a few hours of swimming, we wondered up the pier to grab a bit to eat. Eating over the ocean was great. The bloody Mary's are absolutely amazing! The food was out of this world! Beautifully plated and presented, as well as delicious! Waiter was very attentive, and made sure our son was able to get his choices in, without making it obvious he was looking at us for the go ahead. (Greatly appreciated that.) The vibe was laid back. The fellow customers were so nice.”

“We ate here the last evening of our vacation. We had gone to a number of places to eat and every single one was disappointing. Being in restaurants for 20 years I chalked it up to post memorial day fatigue and reopening issues from the lockdown. So that all being said we stopped at Angry Marlin pretty critical of anything. Service was on 100% on point. If our waitress was not there somebody was. Amazing team service dynamic. Food was amazing. Best meal we had the entire time we were in town. The only disappointment I had during the entire experience was that I didnt have time to tell the owner or manager what a great job the staff did. Family was tired and cranky and want to go home.”

“The food was actually really good. Cool location, on the Padre Island lake. Nice inside. However, it took about an hour and a half to get our food. I would not come here if you are in a hurry or with a large party. Also all of the staff were really nice, but didn't really pay attention to us. We had to flag them down for refills and to place our order. If the service was a bit faster and more attentive this would be 5 stars. But, like I said, food and drinks were good.”

“Ordered 16" pizza with six toppings and some chocolate cake. The pizza was ready in 20 minutes. The crust was very light, not chewy at all. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful. Loved the tomato sauce, quite tasty and bold. The chocolate cake was definitely enjoyable with a rich texture and taste topped with freshly whipped cream. I would definitely order from Island Italian again.”

“Almost 5 stars but...... Start from the beginning. I made my order online which is painless and easy took a few minutes then mission accomplished. In less than 45 minutes the delivery driver brought it to my hotel room (tip given online during order) she said thanks and all was going good. Laid out the feast on the table and started to take some pictures (all was looking very delicious) nice it even comes with paper plates and napkins (great for hotels) I had a pepperoni and pineapple pie, then a pesto pie and a appetizer sampler, even came with a few pepper packets and cheese packs. Here is the missing star (forget my sauces - ranch, marinara sauce). Besides missing that all else was good, fresh and tasty.”
