“Food is always good when we end up here. Came with work group for holiday dinner and everyone was happy with their meal. I went with the pork chops and was just the right amount. Will definitely be back. The waitstaff was perfect that night, they always checked on us to make sure drinks were full but not overbearing. I recommend this place to anyone.”

“Beautiful breakfast spot! Enjoyed the ambiance, service and the food was on point. I had a cloud cake/ pancake, ricotta, lemon zest ...wow so delicious. Eggs were perfectly done as ordered, over medium. They have these refreshing flavored zero caffeine, iced teas, really yummy. My husband had the French toast “duke” plate, which he really enjoyed, and an excellent latte. I wish I had tried their baked goods, they looked so tempting. Guess I gotta come back!”

“We all were so excited to see YOLA’s grand opening! The interior is amazing. And the reputation of the owners made everyone expect the extraordinary. Corpus people were waiting and ready. And than the BKK restaurant temporarily relocated to YOLA. Life is unpredictable! The one thing is obvious - restaurant’s managers showed a real leadership skills - having the whole team moved to their new place while BKK needed to go through necessary reconstructions. So loved by locals BKK Thai kitchen & Bar got a new gorgeous home, and this whole story shows that there is a heart behind this family business. Wishing good luck to this brave local business and looking forward to see new pages in it’s story. P.S. BKK’s yellow curry is the best”

“So this is not my favorite brunch spot. This place is certainly better served as a high end lounge/ drink spot. I really wanted something more like hot tea with my breakfast and that wasn’t an option. I also prefer healthier food options than what they have to offer. I ordered the chicken and waffles for brunch. Despite the fact I’m not suppose to have waffles. The waffle was burned and the chicken was so thick it was unappetizing. The service was not bad. The food came out so quick it just made me think it wasn’t very fresh.”

“Food comes in frozen and is then cooked. Many varieties of bagels and muffins if you don't mind heated frozen food. Cheesy smoothies and coffee that some days is good and other days awful. One weekday staff is super nice, one ...you can tell her heart's not in it. Weekend staff are more interested in each other than doing their job. You can get acceptable food / drink at an average price with sometimes a short wait and sometimes a very long wait and sometimes superior service but sometimes not.”

“Great prices, huge plate of food and gigantic, homemade tortillas. Coffee was okay, not great. Hole in the wall place right next to my hotel (visiting from San Antonio) so it was convenient. But I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. Service was good, food came out fast and the server was attentive. I'm giving an extra star because of the tortillas. Most places give tiny ones especially as plate sides. But these were enormous, fluffy and delicious. I took two home too, they're that good. Definitely recommend Las Milpas.”
