“Really good experience! Oldest restaurant in Amarillo according to their menu. Still in its original location since the glory days of Route 66! The atmosphere is amazing. Really classic, very American style cafe/diner. The folks there were friendly and the food was great. It’s relatively small, so don’t be bummed if you have to wait for a table. The food is NOT FAST (and that’s perfectly fine). For reference, a burger took between 20-25 minutes but it was worth the wait. And it was pretty rushed so I don’t blame them. The few drawbacks: my order of fries and chili got to me way after I was done with my burger. They must have missed it. Can’t blame them, it was pretty packed. Understandable, but unpleasant nonetheless. I wasn’t a fan of the chili, but hey, that is not an instant DQ. Different strokes for different folks. What was IMO unanimously GREAT was the burger! I had the Waller Burger. The fries were a bit on the flimsy side but very hot, tasty and not soggy either. They close at 22:00 but by 21:00 they will not let more people in, so keep that in mind. Great food, good atmosphere and sweet southern hospitality. Will return!”

“Never really had Indian food before but I love spice. I had the Tandoori chicken. Very flavorful. The Naan was amazing. My wife had Nakh-Rah Naan. Very good as well. We had them leave the cilantro off everything. We ordered a da roll with steak and one with chicken also. Both were great I like all the veggies and yogurt sauce. My daughter got the butter chicken. Very flavorful. We will definitely be back.”

“This was probably one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to. True authentic Mexican food. The owner Dora was fantastic and very accommodating. She is just an overall nice person. Had the steak tacos with beans and rice. The flavoring in the steak was amazing. Best refried beans I’ve ever had. Homemade chips and salsa was also great. The only thing I would recommend is that you pay close attention to their signs it is easy to pass by.”

The last time I had eaten at Saltgrass Steak House was several years ago, The staff was Amazing and just being able to enjoy the atmosphere, along with whomever you are out enjoying your time with; or if it's just out enjoying yourself! On October 27, 2022 I happened to order take out, as life sometimes seems to be a Rush! The Steak and salad was delicious! The baked potato was not fully done, but hey, it was still able to be eaten, after I cooked it longer. Overall, the atmosphere is awesome, there is a bar, if you rather sit at; as well you can sit out on the patio. Your choice, just enjoy. Blessings⚓️”

My salad was crisp and the waitress got my “no onions or cheese” order correct, which is apparently tough for many servers. The sauces on enchiladas were good, not great. The beans had a good consistency but required the salt shaker. Overall this is a nice place for some Tex-Mex favorites.”

“Ate here in January 2023 and it was good! Our party spent roughly $44 for two adults and two kids. It was about $12.50 per adult and $7.50 for a child. There was a lot of variety of the familiar buffer specialties such as sweet and sour chicken, chicken skewers, ribs, fried shrimp, fish, noodles, rice, soups, veggies and so much more. They also jad mussels in shell, crawfish, and baby octopus. There's also an area where sushi is made, and custom stir fry area where you can design your meal. A selection of various desert (cakes, cookies, jello, fruit, pudding) complete with ice cream. The food was decent, although a bit greasy (to be expected). Bathrooms, carpets, and seats could use a good scrub. Decorations were nice. Host checking us in up front was very nice. Wait staff super curious. I'd come back here.”

“If I had rated this place about a year or so ago, I would've given it a 3.5 or 4 stars max; but this time, it was just a perfect visit. Jason was our server and he was just totally on the ball the whole. We never had to ask for refills, food and refills just appeared, it was awesome. Like, a magic buffet of tummy love. Great experience, and this visit literally renewed my trust in a corporate chain.”
