The prices are a bit higher than we are used to, but the servings were generous. If the place were cleaned up it would be fantastic! I split a shrimp po'boy (please change the spelling!) And tasted the pork chops and sweet potato fries. They were delish.”

I watched the waitresses go from a service mode to a very nice pleasant affect. I have ate off and on for years here and I will continue to go here in the future. “I’m not a fan of buffets, after weight loss surgery I’m all about quality over quantity. Most buffets serve food straight from the can so I was leery of this place. The best all around meal I’ve had in a while. No complaints at all. My family was satisfied, even my picky kids. Everything seemed to be home cooked with pride- something that has been forgotten in most places. We will be staying in Portland for another 6 months or so and Butter Churn will be a regular dinner stop for us! The owner should be proud, he’s really done a fantastic job with this place!”
