“This is hands down the best restaurant in Tyler by far! It's a hidden gem and truly delicious. The location is a little "different", but it truly is a unique experience. The bar is pretty small but they more than make up for it with an amazing staff. ProTip- ask to hear the off-the-menu specials. I've never ordered off the actual menu. Great burger I had the blue cheese topped Burger they put it on a bed of lettuce for me! also had the waffle sweet potato fries those were great. I only wish they would be able to take an order on the outside so I didn't have to tie my dog up to go order. But otherwise the perfect place! Thank you!”

“Just passing through and looking for local flavor and found it! This was a great place. Loved seeing the checker boards and dominoes set up for folks to enjoy while they wait for a table. Unfortunately my family didn't get to play as we were quickly seated and the place was pretty packed. The food was amazing. The large fried catfish came with about 7 or 8 pieces (I lost count) red beans, fries and hushpuppies. I pretty much waddled out. The wait staff was very attentive. The entire experience was top notch!!”

If your stuck on the newer places in town you are truly missing out. This place always takes me back, whether its the dim lighting, the spiced chips or the old smell and old school ways. The food is always good, its Tex-Mex folks, like a bowl of cereal nothing fancy. If your looking for a fancy busy plate with bells and whistles that you cant eat yet still pay an arm and a leg for, move on cause your comments and fancy ways are poodle goofy. “We went for our first visit on Sunday night. There were guests but not overly crowded in the dining room. We waited through an inning of the World Series with no one to take our order. Finally, asked the hostess and she was not happy to help. However, a wonderful young lady soon arrived and we ended up having a great meal and a fun evening. The shrimp fondue is really delicious. They have tasty Cajun food here with excellent drinks and big portions.”
