“I am giving 4 stars because when we came in we weren't greeted and had to go seat ourselves in the bar areas. We got our drinks fast, but the bartender finished labeling everything, and we had to wait on him. We know what we wanted before we got there. The food was good though and tasty. “It's a welcoming environment as soon as you walk in. The people at the register are very helpful and always smiling. The sitting are is big and clean. Unlimited topping bar. The burger was awesome! “We celebrated a friend’s birthday here and the evening turned sour because of an issue with our server. They had a bad day and took their frustration out on our party. The details of the bad experience aren’t important. What is important is that a member of management was extremely attentive when I asked to speak to her. She’s the bar manager and she was amazing. She kept her composure and made things right. A bad experience was turned into a good evening and we celebrated my friend’s birthday as if nothing had happened. That’s what a manager does, rectifies issues, and the 5 Stars aren’t for the establishment itself. The 5 stars are for this amazing woman who managed to turn a bad experience into a good one. Thank you and may God bless you. To the server who had a bad night. I get it and no hard feelings. I just wanted my friend to enjoy her birthday without a passive aggressive server ruining her night. You quit on the spot and came to let us know and ask us about a tip. Before this I was going to tip in hopes it would brighten your day, but you came back and once again put a damper on the mood. “We rarely eat out & carefully decide where we spend that money. I am also very selective to give out this kind of review but for almost 20 years, we eat EVERY Sunday after church at Jason's Deli. In that time we have never seen the quality of the food to be anything but exceptional. Always. From the order takers to the shy busboy/girls they are so nice. It obvious those employees love working their & want to give you the best. I've also experience above & beyond when it wasn't necessary. They consistently look for ways to be more efficient. I will end by telling you that when I see someone in line viewing the menu intensely, I ask if they "would like some good recommendations from someone that has been coming for 20 years." They always say yes. I then close my eyes & run my hands over the entire menu. They laugh & I tell them, you simply can't go wrong with anything. It's all the same level for best choice.
