“We were able to sit immediately. The waitress got me fresh, hot coffee right away and checked in to top me off a couple times while I ate. I got the French toast and eggs and my spouse got the tamale special. They brought out house hot sauce for my eggs, which was very rich, not very hot, but very flavorful! For under $12, my spouse and I were able to fill up on home made goodness! The cost, flavor, and amazing service will have me coming back again soon!”

“The last time I was here was in 1996. I went back to try it out today and it wasn't as good as I remembered. Also make sure to bring cash, they dont take card. First they need to deep clean thr place, second please don't let your dog in the kitchen, it's never a good look to swear at your staff, especially when you are understaffed. Food is good as usual, some improvements since the last time I was in. Also to the owners. You should use square so you can accept card payments, add a couple of dollars to each menu item then just swipe/tap with a square reader. They only take 3% of a sale and will allow you to accept more forms of payment”

“Good place to have a meal! I came here with a large group one day and most of our table was served in a timely manner. We had mozzarella sticks & fried calamari that each came with a large dish of marinara sauce. Both were good & very crunchy. I really liked the fried shrimp & fried red pepper tofu. The spicy basil fried rice is my favorite base to pair with each protein, but this time the rice tasted slightly hard/undercooked. Food is good, but I don’t really like the boba here. Update: Went back here to try the food again, and this time my crawfish fried rice tasted burnt.. not sure if I’ll get any more rice dishes in the future.”

Haven’t tried anything but the wings and fries but how can you go wrong with wings and daiquiris 🤤. Specials all week! Somethings different everyday. “The sweetest little coffee shop with the best coffee - never tastes burnt. Atmosphere is calming and such beautiful aesthetic! Got to do my Bible study with my husband while we enjoyed breakfast tacos and avocado toast. We loved it and can’t wait to come back. The hug in a cup has always been my favorite since I discovered the original Cedar Hill location in high school, and it didn’t disappoint here either! They also give free coffee to any first responders on duty, which is encouraging to me since I’m one myself. Great little place!”
