Torchy's Tacos

Really good quality tacos. Huge lines so get there early or after peak hours or be prepared for a wait.

We had a mic between five, fried chicken, carnitas, brisket and king prawns. All really good, nice fresh tortilla with punchy filling.

Love their chicken burrito! It's a more generous size than the one from the trailer that was on First street. I preferred the taste of that one but this is still very good. Takes a while until they serve so if you are in a hurry, keep that in mind. Otherwise, place is clean and busy. It's more convenient than the old libation. Parking is in the back but it fills up fast.

I always go to the Torchy's at Mueller District and honestly I have been losing faith in Torchy's as I have not enjoyed my last few times I've ate there. I had company that came from Wisconsin and I took them to Torchy's on Congress and they restored my faith. It was so delicious my friends that were here visiting just raved about how good it was.

My nephew who came to visit at Christmas said that he will make a trip to Ausin just for Torchy's.

First time visit here today, and I must say that I'm pleased. Tons of choices for tacos, lots of variety. The portions were reasonable, and the price was surprisingly low. I was expecting almost double when I walked in. The staff was friendly, but most importantly: the food was really tasty! They had some interesting fountain drink flavors as well, things I haven't seen elsewhere before.

Torchys is always a delicious pleasure to eat. If you are looking for traditional tacos, you are in the wrong place! If you're looking for fried chicken tacos, covered in bacon and ranch, or a sausage link sprinkled with brisket, then you want Torchy's. There is a taco here for everyone, the price is fair and the bar tops it all off. Great hangout spot for anyone looking to have good food and a good time.
