Woodland

Woodland is one of my very favorite places in South Austin. They specialize in Southern favorites, like meatloaf, chicken pot pie, and shrimp n' grits, all of which are well loved by my family. While their dinners are wonderful, what really sets Woodland apart is their pie. Cream pies seem to be their bread n' butter. It's worth visiting the Woodland just for the pie alone, so if you visit, make sure to leave room.

Very pretty restaurant with great comfort food. I haven't had anything there I didn't like. Half off of wine and some kind of cocktail discount at happy hour. I've also had really great service every time I've been there and look forward to trying their pies!

This place is amazing food, esp the mac n cheese and stuffed tomato! You have to try it, Its a great place for a first date. Very in the middle of nice and fancy, also great mood. They also have super cool decor!

Had a whiskey pecan pie and a peanut butter chocolate pie with coffee and they were both the best I ever tasted. Service was great...always there with the coffee refills. Going back to check out the dinner menu.

One of my favorite spots in town for a casual brunch or lunch. One of a few places in Austin where you can get killer tater tots. The pie counter will make you drool. Lots of fancy cocktails to choose from and you won't spend a fortune.
