My daughter and I have been extremely reluctant to eat at a restaurant these days. I have to say being a Chef and wanting to make some major lifestyle changes we were sooooo pleased!!! There care in how they are receiving orders to having ample outdoor seating. It was all clean we felt safe and comfortable. The food was so delicious and fresh. I was full all day after our lunch. I’m thinking I may be back a few times a week. Thank you for being open and putting us at ease. Also for the great meal!!!

Locally sourced, organic, superbly and creatively prepared vegan food in a beautifully landscaped and peaceful setting. A relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. A set menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Lunch and dinner are self-serve except for the entrée, which is brought out to you. The set includes soup, salad, the main dish and a choice of teas and coffee. Everything is delicious, and your dog is welcome to hang out with you on the gorgeous patio.

I’ve been a vegetarian most of my life (because... cheese!) but after the delicious dinner we had, I can finally see going vegan all the way. I couldn’t name all the spices in our to-die-for squash lasagna and the sauces on the side dishes, but I know I want to taste them again... Absolutely delicious. On a side note, this was my carnivorous husband’s first foray into a vegan experience, and he loved it as much as I did. Afterwards we got to relax in the romantically lit, serene garden spaces to complete a beautiful evening of excellent food both for the body and for the soul.

Can we give them a million+ stars? There aren’t words to truly explain the consciousness, pure intention, love, & healing behind Casa de Luz (House of Light, if translated to English).

Macrobiotic diet.... what does it mean? It means eating clean, eating nutrition & food that give us more life & doesn’t compromise our wellbeing making us sick. It’s 100% vegan, as organic as it can get & made with lots of love. It’s truly healing medicine-food.

Community tables, lovely, happy & healthy people sharing a higher purpose to raise human consciousness about us as a whole with the planet & all beings.

Come to eat, to visit, to take Yoga classes, attend a workshop, have a Healing Cranialsacral Therapy session, just hang out, feel the love, the energy & have your own experience.

Much love, light, blessings, & healing to you.

Expensive for weekday lunch, $14/person. Dinner or weekend feel may be more in price now, compared to prices in the past.

Desert is expensive, $5 w/tax, but it’s good.

Like how conservative the place is though with no light bulbs but natural light. Tea and water. Soup and salad. Reusable utensils and cloth napkins.

Simple yet delicious food imo. Have been coming here for several years.

Went for the first time today and we will be back!! My husband and I aren’t new to healthy eating and we often frequent vegan/vegetarian restaurants. We could easily give up meat and often try to eat mostly vegetables when we can. (Although I love cheese!)
But at this place, you don’t miss it! I could eat the salad every single day- wish I had the recipe! After the soup and salad I was starting to get full. But I saved room for the entree and it was delicious. The sauce on the kale was amazing! And the rice was perfectly cooked.
It was a gorgeous day so we sat outside. Our toddler loved the playground area and he even ate most of his salad! He also loved the rice!
Everyone was nice and I assume that the most of the patrons were regulars. You can tell that they appreciate and respect the food, people and ambiance. We will be back! Probably weekly!
