“Best buffet in Round Rock! everything I tried was good, fresh and kept at proper temperature. Lots of shrimp dishes and the shrimp was not over cooked at all...quite delicious! Good soup options. Great sushi options! Exceptional Mongolian Grill with fresh shrimp available as a protein. Lots of beef dishes including a delicious beef egg roll. The fish offerings were way better than most buffets and quite a pleasant surprise! The ladies picking up plates were friendly and efficient but never intrusive. I can't tell you how good the desserts are because I was too full from sampling all of the great dishes and had no room for dessert???? Since I will definitely be back I will update this review to include dessert later.”

“Took my son here who had recently returned from spending almost a year in France and we were both hugely impressed with this place. First of all, I've eaten at tons of Asian places and this is the only place where I've had carrot soup for lunch. It was amazing, to say the least. They definitely serve very healthy stuff in huge quantities. You will see from the photo I've included. Definitely not to be missed if you're into healthy eating. Bottom line: very healthy, very affordable, very huge.”

“We we're looking for some gluten free pies for xmas dinner and found Pie Jacked on Google. We called up and ordered ahead based on the good reviews. They were very friendly and had no problems with order. When I picked up the pies I realized I had stopped reading their specialty at gluten free. I saw on the box all the other things the pie didn't have in it and started to worry. A lot of gluten free, allergen free etc foods just aren't very good. They'll get great reviews since their good for what they are but are usually terrible by normal standards. This was not the case at all. Our pies were great. Particularly the apple. The only difference I could tell was the crust. It's more like a shortbread cookie in taste and texture than your standard crust. Not a bad thing, just different. I would recommend their pies even if you don't have a food allergy.”

“Great burger fries. The Wednesday special is my go . If i'm getting a regular bacon cheese burger Short stop is right up there with Top Notch. I do however have one complaint. The staff is weird about ketchup and napkins. They ask at the end of your order "would you like extra Ketchup?" I say yes every time. They give me a whooping 1-2 ketchup packets without fail. I don't consider myself someone who eats a ton of ketchup but i want it on my burger fries. 1 pack just isn't enough. If you ask for extra napkins, your getting 1 extra napkin. I own a restaurant and know that wasting a little ketchup or napkin isn't what's going to put you out of business.”

“I did hit this location late, within 40 minutes of closing, so I've taken that into consideration. The chicken was scrumptious but the biscuit was pretty hard. They didn't have anymore of my favorite sides (all out)- corn on the cob and red beans and rice, so I substituted, and the substitutions were good. The wait at the pick up window was unusually but incredibly long. I definitely will return though for the best spicy, crunchy chicken of the "fast" food market!!!!”

“Pizza and craft beer how can you go wrong? At Slapbox Pizzacheria you get both. Very clean and great service. Located in beautiful, historical downtown Round Rock Texas. you can get your pies by the pie or by the huge slice. We got a 14 inch pie to share. The table behind us got slices that they couldn't finish nor could we finish the whole pizza. maybe it was the outstanding garlic knots we got for an appetizer! Anyway the pizza was excellent and even warmed over left overs still tasted fresh the next day. Highly recommend next time you are looking to eat out in Round Rock”
