“Found this place through Google Reviews and decided to give it a try on our road trip. We were not disappointed! It was Father's Day and the manager saw my husband holding our four year old's hand while we were ordering our food at the counter. He greeted him and told him happy Father's Day and genuinely talked with him about the joys of being a dad. Great customer relations. The food was amazing--fresh and full of flavor. If we lived closer, we would be back for sure!”

“So happy to have this restaurant in our small town! I went this morning to check it out and was pleasantly surprised by the space. The owners have done a really nice job with the layout of the restaurant. I got a cup of coffee, hatch green chili bagel sandwich and a smoothie. It was all tasty and very affordable! They open at 6am which alone is AMAZING! I'm often in town doing laundry super early so it's wonderful to have a spot that I can grab a coffee and a smoothie on my way home. My husband and I went back that same afternoon after running errands to grab a quick bite. We got the antipasto salad and an ice coffee. SOOOO tasty! They did not skimp on the size of salad. It was overloaded with all kinds of goodies that I couldn't even finish it! As they just opened, they seem to be busy already and their fresh smoothies seem to be a real hit. Lots of flavor options and at a reasonable price. Staff is new and is already doing a great job. Friendly, move fast and attentive. This is a great spot for any meal of the day and I'm looking forward to coming back and supporting another great business in Monticello!”

“Stopped for the night on our way to Colorado. The place was pretty cool pulling up at night, you could see all the stars. Comfy beds and big beautiful wooden bed frame. Rooms were clean, cozy, but no TV, fridge, microwave in rooms. However guests are welcome to use the dining room and kitchen to prepare meals.”

“I was informed by the lovely manager that the location is seasonal, not opened during the winter. These photos and this information will apply to the summer of 2022. The sweet ladies (who agreed to be in the photo) cooking, making shakes, and taking orders were all super friendly and helpful. They got our food to us quickly even with us being a larger group. Food was good and didn't make anyone feel ill, which after a day of hiking or visiting outdoor sites is actually important. The shakes were especially good.”

“The most epic of BBQ places. I had the ribs in my husband had to pulled pork. And their drinks are amazing. Also I do not know what spice rub they put on their ribs but it is to die for. I would definitely go back again a million times over! Plus the service was outstanding!”

“It was okay. We were hungry and I didn't have to cook. I make better pizza at home. They put the cheese on top of the pepperoni, which I think is wrong. Probably would not go there again. They had a sign outside that said thanks for 30 years. Hard to believe, but maybe folks in that town have never had really good pizza. Building could use some cleaning and updates.”

“Ordered a takeout pizza. Was ready in less than 20 minutes. Perfectly fine pizza. Nothing special though. Crust was not great in my opinion. There just aren’t too many options in this town though!”

“This Thai restaurant is a hidden gem in a small town that mostly serves American food. So far we have eaten here twice, the food was excellent and so was the service. There’s always background music that is soft, serene, a good way to enjoy your meal along with a cold Thai tea. I’d like to see this restaurant in California, and give those other Thai restaurants a run for the money, very authentic and priced right!”

“We stopped in to grab some lunch and we’re surprised to a meal of some of the best Mexican food we’ve ever had. Tacos were made with homemade tortillas and came with two delicious homemade sauces. My partner ordered the enchiladas and they came with carrots, at first I was skeptical, but then we realized they were the best most delicious thing we had ever eaten. Go to the restaurant. You won’t be disappointed.”

“Can’t count the number of times that we have been here as we have been driving through. The beauty of this place is the convenient location. Right off the main road Bathrooms are clean. Store is loaded with every convenience store option you could want. Great for gas, bathroom breaks, and snacks.”

“When you walk inside a restaurant and you immediately feel welcome...that's starting off on the right foot! The draft beer and food selection was terrific and the atmosphere is top notch! We had a great dining experience here and thankfully we were able to watch Arkansas Baseball in College World's Series and boy, we will return very soon!”

“Unique experience. Super Charming rooms. After the two bigger hotels in town either said they had no vacancies (parking lot didn't look full) or did not answer the phone at all, I tried the Grist Mill and we were very pleased. It's supposed to be a Bed & breakfast, but due to staffing issues, it's pretty much just "Bed" now. Breakfast was not great, but the price reflects that. I hope they are able to get back to full service soon. Would still recommend it and hope we get the chance to stay there again.”
