“Ever since the online ordering they have always gotten the order right and on time. I go about once a week as a treat to myself or if I am on my way out of Burlington. I recommend taking a look at the system and ordering since it it easy, has plenty of options (what does a triple toast look like?), and easy to do from a phone, but I tend to just do it on my laptop. Nice little spot since the cheapest gas in town is across the street and I get a slushy with my bagel... Can't recommend enough and go Everything (toasted) with the Maple Walnut cream cheese!!! M”

“Traveling to Vermont for the weekend and came here for breakfast two of the three mornings. First day I had the 802 specialty sandwich. And the second day I had the BBB breakfast sandwich. “Love their fresh strawberry cream cheese w/real strawberries! Was there Sat. 9am ordered a dozen & 4 cream cheeses, had to wait 15 mins? It wasn't that crowded. Hadn't been here in a year & I had cash & the sign saying cash only was just in front of the register so I didn't see it until I had ordered so that was a drag. Then they have a container for tips with a bunch of Dollar bills in it! So they can touch that money? The bagels were sadly, a little hard for that time of day, ya can't expect everyone to get there at 7am on a SAT. Aren't you baking all day? I usually love the bagels here, just had to pop them in the microwave to get them a little soft.”

“All the pastries look fantastic. You definitely wanna try them all when you enter. I had a fantastic biscuit. The pancakes were smooth and tasty. The breakfast burrito is a delight. I also had a toasted brioche sandwich which was excellent and fulfilling. The look of the various sandwiches is great, and if you are not hungry, you will definitely be when you will get your plate in front of you. Also, the waitresses were extremely nice. Superb place.”

“Loved them from the very beginning. Hands down the best ice cream. Ate in the bus inside their store in Burlington. It was great for my grand daughter so it made our visit memorable for us. Had a new flavors to try and pick my new favorite. Can't wait to go back in the future. They were staffed well. Couldn't make up my mind so let some go in front. Still didn't take long to get waited on a few minutes later when I came to a decision. A must see and go and try some ice cream or sorbet or non dairy. You may think it's pricey but really it's not. The higher fat content fills up you up with less. And if you pick a flavor with stuff in it, they don't skimp on added items in the ice cream. Go try them, take the family, take your friends, go with a co-worker, just go and enjoy!”

From what it lacked in size it made up for in flavor. The mixture of root vegetables with brisket fat and blue cheese mixed up at the bottom was well worth the wait! We split the waffles and the hash and it was perfect for two, but if you are ordering for just yourself the hash will leave something to be desired. I will be back. Keep up the great work!”

“Everyone raves about August First and I can see why. It's in a beautiful part of town and the inside is stunning. The high ceilings make for an airy dining area. There are tables outside. The menu is impressive. What I did love was the coffee and my wife enjoyed her maple biscuit. However, I ordered eggs and potatoes and it was not good. The eggs were dried out and the potatoes flavorless for having herbs on them. If we were to go again, I'd just order coffee.”

“The vibe here is great once you walk in. The locals love it. Its conveniently right next to the water. Got a strong college place feel to it. Workers are friendly and open to offer suggestions. The food is a mixed bag. To my discerning out of town palate, my spin-art dip was was a little too garlicky. And i love garlic. The chips are pieces of fried crepe were a disappointment. I'm used to it being lighter, these were brick hard. Some were stale. To my teenager, this was great and perfect. Her cheese burger was on point and so was the pesto crepe. Price for 4 including iced tea was $52 with tip.”

“I'm a local. In the past, I've always made sure to come to the airport extra early when I'm flying out of Burlington so I can stop by the Skinny Pancake for breakfast and my last local beer for a few days. When you think about that we're talking about an airport resteraunt, that's kind of an anomaly. Today was the first time I was disappointed, and it's mainly with the service. I ordered, sat at the bar, eventually I hear my name called and, even though I'm sitting at the Bar, no one on the staff can be troubled to walk my food over to me? It's really impersonal and honestly just lazy service. There were like 7 customers and at least 5 staff members, not exactly what you would call busy. I observed the same confusion/annoyance with other customers as well. The food was still pretty good. This is still the best airport resteraunt I've ever been to, which is why I'm giving 3 stars. However, I have always gone out of my way to eat here, in lieu of the countless other options in the surrounding area on the way to the airport. I'll never make the effort again.”
