“We had a delicious meal and drinks at Fancy's! My wife and I went there for dinner on "Opening Night." What a great addition to the Old North End neighborhood. From the minute we walked inside, I appreciated the atmosphere and vibe of the place. The ambiance was warm and welcoming. The staff were friendly and engaging. There was a nice mix of seating options, from window seats to tables. And the people at the other tables all seemed to be having fun. We were seated immediately and the waitstaff brought us glasses of "spa water." The menu was well-balanced with small, medium, and large plates. Our appetizers and drinks came out quickly. The mocktails and cocktails were unique and refreshing. Each dish we got was a work of art. My personal favorite item was the grape leaves. For dessert, we had a piece of cake and creemee twists. Although coffee is not on the menu, the bartender David went out of his way and kindly brewed me a cup to go along with our treats. The desserts were an absolute showstopper. I ended up getting a second piece of cake to go. Since our meal at Fancy's, I keep thinking about what I'm going to get next time. I look forward to going there again for dinner, but I can also imagine myself popping by for a drink or grabbing a creemee with the neighborhood families. Fancy's was an absolute hit!!”

“First of all the 3 gentleman that run this kitchen are great people. We were one of the last orders of the night so we got to chat with them. The owner is very passionate about his food and the quality. The food is very good and fresh. The dishes taste amazing and very unique. We will be back often. The area to wait is small so just be aware of that. The wait can sometimes be a couple hours but it's 100% worth it. All I can say is plan ahead. “Fantastic atomosphere, and the food is just absolutely insane. It was the best sandwich I've had in the last few years for certain. I ordered "the Ruby" which was as amazing as it sounds and was happy to see a vegan option! The bread is top tier and really makes the sandwich. The prices are very reasonable for what you get. My only complaint is I wish they were open more hours or on the weekend for all us weekly 9-5 workers. Can't wait to go here again.”

“Probably one of the best fried chicken in BTV! You can order online, thru the kiosk or the counter. Ordered an 8 piece fried chicken. Took about 15 minutes which was not bad. Chicken was good, crispy and juicy! They have variety of sauce for the chicken but it is in a small container(not enough for an 8 piece!). Luckily the chicken is good enough that it doesn’t need any sauce.”

“If you have not yet been to Magic Chopstick at the bottom of St. Paul Street, you have got to try their beef Lanzhou noodle soup and beef tendons in chili oil. OMG the hot broth outside in the cold is amazing. They have indoor seating of course but I wanted to eat hot soup outside and the weather is perfect. The broth is so full of flavor and warms the soul. The beef is so tender. The noodles are so soft. The beef tendons in the chili sauce is also amazing. It's got a little bit of kick to it. As someone who is weak to spicy food this is the perfect level for me. The owner did bring out a jar of chili oil in case I needed it, but I am not the kind of Asian who can tolerate slice well so I i am enjoying it as is. They also have bubble tea which is delicious. They also have soup dumplings which I will definitely get next time.”

“Well, I’m glad to have a Little Caesar’s closer to Burlington. I’ve visited this new location twice so far and have always been somewhat disappointed. Of course, Little Caesars as a chain is naturally hit or miss. Both counter employees I’ve been served by have seemed bored and/or stressed while working. Again, that’s natural I guess, but it’s always nice to meet a genuinely warm and friendly person while getting one’s dinner, and I’ve not yet experienced that here. The prices are significantly higher than Little Caesars in other regions, expect to be paying $10 for a pizza or $15 if getting bread as well. When my pizza was pulled ‘hot and ready’ from their warmer behind the counter it seemed it had been in there for 20 mins despite it being around peak time on a Saturday night. Was deflated and dry, disappointing for the price. Might have gone back to ask for a remake if the employees had seemed a bit warmer interacting with customers. Another time I had the italian cheese bread, which was woefully underseasoned compared to any other time I’ve had that in other states.. The inside is sparkling new and always appears clean. They do have the pizza pick-up box where you can scan a code to get your pizza yourself. For the price, Dominos seems like a better pizza in this area, unless you specifically ask for your Little Caesars pie to be made fresh when you arrive.”

“I honestly didn't know what to expect. I was not a particular fan of Indian and Nepali cuisine but I am now. This place blew my mind. Every dish we ordered was spectacular. There were so many options but each item seemed to be so thoughtfully crafted. The sauces and the flavors were divine and the food itself didn't seem too salty. The food got to our table quickly. The basmati rice was perfect and the noodles of my vegan chow mein were amazing. I will say the food may be spicier than you might expect - even medium spicy was pretty hot for me. The prices were far lower than expected and the food was worth every penny. The inside of the restaurant was interesting and unorthodox and might even deter some folks but I can assure you the food was so incredible it did not matter. Can't wait to get food from here again and will likely try takeout next.”

“Fantastic Korean food. I have enjoyed a lot of Korean food in my life and this place was up there with some of my favorites. So glad to have this place in VT! We ordered Spicy Tteokbokki, Golden Original Korean Fried Chicken with French Fries, and the Korean Rose Udon with Shrimp. The soups/sauces were incredible and the fried chicken was fried to perfection. The only thing that didn't blow my mind was the fries which were just average. Cute shop and great location. There isn't much seating inside so be prepared to take your food to go and have it at home.”

I’ve always loved their other locations, but I actually think this one is the BEST. The food is incredible delicious, the portions are perfect, they have tons of options & really stellar specials that use local offerings. The staff has always been lovely & the atmosphere is truly top notch. You might as well be having lunch at Venice Beach! The music / playlist vibes also brighten up my day each time. Plus! You can online order ahead & get a text when it’s ready which is PERFECT for those busy meeting days! My only complaint is that I wish they had takeout containers (which I believe they don’t do for environmental reasons) & that I wished they were open longer 🤣 highly recommend!”

“If you have lived in Vermont long enough, you know the importance of finding a good cafe that serves delicious food and has a great ambience. We had a wonderful experience in this hidden gem of a place, I was initially not sure what to expect as the name focuses on ice-cream which was absolutely amazing, we left with few different flavors. But we also enjoyed grilled cheese croissants, these were cooked to perfection. I had a grilled cheese croissant with swiss cheese and eggs in it..oh my God..just heavenly. My wife had her grilled cheese croissant with caramlized apples and bacon crumbles..she loved it! We also had jerk chicken soup with our croissants, steamy, slightly spicy..yummy. Then we got raspberry muffins with nuts..this place doesn't fail to impress you. The owner stopped by and said hello to us..what a sweet and friendly person to meet, he was courteous and making sure everyone was enjoying their food..now that says a lot about why this place is so amazing. Definitely check it out...it's right off of Williston Road, we will definitely be back.”

“If you are even remotely close to this place GO! The food is insanely delicious. The quality and attention to detail in the food is top tier. The atmosphere is romantic, cozy and all the things you want. You can tell everyone loves working there and loves the food and takes pride in their work. “Nice meal with room for improvement. The food was very good and high quality, a few dishes including the steak needed a pinch more salt. Drinks from the bar were painfully slow, one came 25 minutes after I’d ordered and was not made as well as the same thing I’d ordered earlier in the meal. My wife ordered the port flight for dessert and instead got the dessert wines which they happily replaced but we’d finished dessert before it was all sorted out. We ordered three desserts but only two showed up. The third wasn’t on our bill but we did want to try it. The restaurant was busy even early Saturday evening and the staff seemed to be scrambling. We’ll be back but for the cost hope the experience improves a bit. A nice addition to Shelburne.”
