“First time having sushi! I was quite pleased by the atmosphere and the service. The cultural decor was an enjoyable addition to the kindness that our server showed us. The sushi was so good that we ordered another round of it after we finished what we got. Delicious food in an interesting part of town. I was only sometimes a little worried about the outside. The drink selection was also great for the choices that they had. We tried the volcano sushi and I would definitely recommend that one. Try it! You may end up enjoying the taste of the sushi as I did! 5 stars out of the 5 stars!”

“Array of mid range burgers. Definitely not McDonald's or burger King but not gourmet. Burger automatically come with two patties unless you specify a little burger. Burgers are made to order, with a large variety of free toppings to choose from. Hand-cut Fries orders are very generous portions. I'm gluten sensitive and they make burgers on lettuce when requested, and make sure to keep them away from breads.”

The deli is owned by a long standing Italian family here in Rutland City and as I'm told they are all old family recipes. Only the best ingredients are used in all the made from scratch recipes. “Absolutely love this place! Went there for the first time with my friends. The waiters were extremely friendly. Food was perfectly cooked. I started with the Arugula salad with goat cheese, dried apricots and white champagne dressing. For the main course, I had wooden fried salmon with asparagus. It was delicious! My friends had mac and cheese and a salad. Finally, we had their Chocolate chip cookie sundae. Needless to say, it was amazing.. If you sit in the front deck, you should. It's very neat! will definitely be visiting again :) -Satisfied customer.”

“We were passing through and ended up in town on a busy Friday night. The place was packed and hopping. We were seated back by the kitchen. A little loud at times with the guys barking at each other on the status of orders. Quite impressive though. They were busting it hard to keep things going. It's a typical brewpub feel. A bit industrial, very open and plenty of brewpub adornments on the walls. We had great service considering the circumstances and considering the way the rest of the servers seemed to be working, everyone else did as well. I had a couple Head Doctors. A bit more hop than I like, but not too much to keep me from drinking multiple. The pizza was ok. The crust seemed a little underdone, but that may have been due to volume of patrons. The sauce is sweet, which did catch us off guard. All in all it's a nice brewpub in a lovely NE town.”

“I’ll never make fun of Rutland again! Best burger in a long time! Love this place. Stylish, well-designed space. They thought of every detail. Even the undersides of the wooden tables are covered in carpet for sound dampening. My burger was perfectly cooked to medium-well as I asked. Remained flavorful and juicy. I added a sift cooked egg and goat cheese, and it was awesome—messy, but awesome. Creative cocktails. Small, but well-curated and local draft list.”

“Update: July 2019 Stopped again on our trip north. Stayed hungry just to make it to this restaurant. WELL WORTH OUR WAIT!!! Our group had the wings which were excellent. We also had 3 different types of pizza all of which were AMAZING! Chicken/bacon/ranch; Buffalo chicken; and Mediterranean! Flavors were great. Did I also mention great beer selections too? So glad we were able to stop by again on our northern journey from PA. Just passing thru on vacation and stopped in. Very pleasant staff and the food was phenomenal! Had garlic bread with delicious sauce and the pizzas were delicious! highly recommend it!”

“CALL BEFORE YOU GO TO MAKE SURE THEY’RE OPEN. The burritos are good, and the ingredients and cleanliness are nice as well. The reason I am giving 3 stars, instead of 5, is due to convenience. They used to be open until 8:00, which allowed you to pick up some burritos for dinner. They shortened their hours to 6:00, and now you have to plan to pick up dinner at 5:00, which is weird. Also, every time we go, before 6:00, to get some burritos, they are closed for some odd reason (the last time was for a Shriners game?) It’s like they don’t want business.”

“Stopped by to get large coffee. Upgraded it with shot of espresso. Guy working by himself. It was 445 on the morning. He did really good job. Positive attitude. Friendly customer service. My brother and I were so impressed we actually tipped the guy, which we almost never do. The dunk in donuts shop we visited is on South main street, in Rutland. Looks like they recently renovated the facade. Looks good. Definitely worth a try.”

“What to say? First the service. Our waitress was engaged and honestly enjoyed making sure we had good time. Have not had better service. Second, the food. Perfect presentation and taste. Third, price. We had to stop eating or we were going to pop. The portions were huge. We will yet make another dinner from this which makes the already low price more so. I have easily spent 50 to 100 dollars more on a meal like this.”
