Good coffee, perfect cider donuts, muffins (and normally I pass on muffins in general) that are better than any cake I've had, stuffed with berries and covered in crunchy big sugar flakes. Fantastic beer and wine selection, awesome lunch sandwiches, friendly staff. I used to live in a town that had dozens and dozens of well regarded places to eat. None made food as good as the wells store. Here's the breakfast plan: go in, snag a coffee, 1 donut, one berry muffin and a sandwich with sausage egg and cheese and your day is made.”

We stopped here for lunch on our way through and each of us really enjoyed what we ordered. The curry chicken salad wrap is especially exceptional! Not to mention their pies--so so SO good. I got the chocolate bourbon walnut pie and it was incredibly decadent. Staff were laid-back and friendly, and prices were decent. Great local place--highly worth a stop if you are in the area!”

“Never judge a book by its cover. My husband had been here 3 years ago, and it was so good then, he added it as a favorite on his GPS (we live on Long Island!) The inside is welcoming and cozy. “Serves breakfast, light lunch, and desserts. Food is EXCELLENT! I'm not sure if it is all homemade, but it is high quality and delicious. Today I had chicken salad on a spinach bagel with Thai chicken soup. Both were very good. I didn't get dessert, but did sample a few of them- the carrot cake was amazing! It has only four tables to sit at, so it is not a huge place. Parking is mostly on the street, but there are three spots on the Safford street side. I will be visiting again soon!”

“I really miss the bagels I used to get in NYC. Bruegger's comes VERY close to the taste of a New York bagel. The selection of bagels they make is amazing (20 different types, I think) and if you get there early enough, you'll be able to pick from the freshest of fresh, as all of their bagels are made on the premises. My absolute favorite is the jalapeño cheddar. They have plenty of spreads to choose from, as well as sandwiches, soups, and other goodies. I order a dozen bagels from here at least once every month.”
