“I've been ordering takeout from Asian Wok for several years, and the food has always been great. The vegetables always seem fresh and the food doesn't seem over salted. My favorites are the Hunan chicken and the Szechuan chicken!”

“Not as good as the reviews. General's chicken though well seasoned was very dry. Chicken Satay appetizers had the appearance and toughness of heavy duty plastic. Tsim and Peking are better alternatives. Overall edible. Maybe eating there would have improved the quality...maybe go with other options.”

“This place is FANTASTIC. We have family from Yunnan and this food is very authentic. We went there for their “soft opening” and met the owner...everyone is very very personable. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend going before it gets too popular.”

“It took a while to get my order of a single happy meal. There didn't seem to be many people there, not sure what the hold up was maybe short staffed or the people ahead of me had difficult orders. The staff I saw was moving, so I do not think it was them being slow.”

“Can't wait to come back here! Loved the atmosphere and the staff are great, they seem like they enjoy working there. The food was really good, I had my first lobster roll since we've moved to the DMV area! Was no disappointed! The onion rings were very good too! 10/10 would recommend to friends!”

“Great food, lively, upscale, sports orientated atmosphere. The service was very good. Wide selection of wine and craft beers. Very good menu. The food was a solid 4 stars. A great place to eat or just grab a drink. Full service bar with handcrafted cocktails.”

“I travel all over the country for work. Every single week I am some place different. I don't write reviews very often but felt I needed to this time. Granted this was only one visit but the staff was excellent and friendly, place was cozy and service was fast. I had the Lobster Rizzuto and it was wonderful. I will be back.”

“Good sandwiches but long prep time. Even when the place is empty, it seems to take a long time to get something like a steak & cheese. It's good, though. And the service is friendly.”

“This is a hidden gem. The restaurant is small and cozy. They have a good selection of dishes to choose from. My food was fresh and delicious. The service is also great. I would certainly recommend this place.”

“Great service and good quality food. Sushi quality is outstanding. Typical Japanese hibachi show. Each section fits 8 fairly comfortably. Not easily seen from the road. May require parking a short distance away.”

“A better run business would clearly post its hours outside and would close the doors when they are closed. Service was fine and food was fine the time we were the only ones in there. Popped in another night at 10:20 PM for a drink and appetizer. Doors wide open. There were about 14 other people in there having a grand time. Got ignored at our table for 10 minutes. Went to the bar. Got ignored and walked away from until I finally said excuse me. I asked what the procedure was for getting service, and the bartender said, "We close in ten minutes, so . . ." So what? You thought that was a good reason to act like we weren't there?! We took the hint and left. Note that hours are not posted at the door, printed in the room, or printed on the menus. And who closes at 10:40? I later checked Google My Business which said they close at 10PM. One, a good restaurant seats until they are closed, and poorly managed ones don't know tthat. Two, have the sense to post a closed sign or the decency to recognize other people.”

“Great little spot for fast pitas. Gyros were tasty, fresh, and hit the spot for a speedy lunch.”

“The pizza selection and the other food items were very great, but this place doesn't have very many single person menu items, unless you order a sub or wings. The place was a little hard to find off route 1 you'll have to slow down to see it, and going north bound you can't turn directly into the restaurant. They don't have any place within the restaurant to wait for your order, but they also deliver so I would suggest ordering delivery. But all together the food was delicious the prices are fair and my experience was very convenient. Would recommend this place if you are in old town or Potomac yard.”

“Mmmmmm i love this place!! I go here for lunch at least once a week. Their food is pretty fresh and tastes really good. Decent prices for the amount of food you get. Great view of the Potomac River while you eat. Outdoor seating when weather is nice. It is in a business building so they are not open on the weekends, but if you are here during the week you should check it out!”

“We were there for a retirement party. Good was fantastic as was the service. We had such a good time as did everyone. Everyone who works there, works as a team and they're great and so friendly. We've been there twice and will go back in June while we're there again.”

“Love the food and atmosphere here. Sat at the bar with a friend and Sandy took great care of us. The food is great and the staff very friendly. A special thank you to all those who cared for me in my on personal medical issue Valentine's Day evening. You are truly the best and the care was appreciated.”

“We've been coming here for a few years and always enjoy the food and service. The seafood is fresh-tasting. The pasta dishes are ample and pleasing. Salads are fresh with a flavorful house dressing. Some recent interior refreshing has brightened the place nicely. Lots of specials and a nice Happy Hour menu for a test run. We've used Groupon deals for a great value and have never had a problem. And when spring finally comes again we'll be on the small patio enjoying ourselves.”

“I have been several times with my teenage boys. Every time we go things (service, food, menu) seem to get better. First, the good news. Last night, a young man that has been our waiter a few times started singing and playing the guitar and he was great! I wish I had known, I would have come later and planned to stay. He mentioned he was there until 10pm. Last night 2 of 3 of us thought it was a bit bland? My son ordered the sliders, a Wednesday night special. The other meal was a Cuban sandwich. It was fine, just a bit plain and greasy? The pork did not seem right for a Cuban sandwich? My salad was just fine. I never get much lettuce, but overall it tasted good. Of course we will be back, I did not get a chance to have anything from Happy Hour, and the prices were great! I hope the singer is a regular thing?!”

“There are a few tables were you can sit down and enjoy your food. The staff is always nice and friendly. I only get cheese steaks from here. They are huge, so a small 8 inch can feed two people. Quality of the cheese steaks is above average.”

“The pizza is very tasty. The first one we got via delivery looked like it had been carried like a book. The toppings were all on one side, leaving the other side bare. However, after a quick call to the shop, they made it right and sent a new pizza to the house. The second one that came was pristine and tasted great. We'll definitely order from them again.”

“In love with their Country breakfast sandwich though better inspection of the side fruit salad would be appreciated. I've been here at least 5 times and each time the side fruit salad contains a piece or two of bad fruit which is difficult because it's an extremely small portion. Also, they do not take phone orders but you can order and pay online. What happens if you're out of something I wouldn't have to detour from my morning commute and be more disappointed.”

“Had a wonderful meal last night at Del Ray Cafe'. Everyone in our party of 4 enjoyed their meal and felt our service was spot on. We tried both the Restaurant week menu and regular dinner menu. We recommend the Oysters and the Shrimp (heads are cooked on for full flavor) for apps. My husband loved his Scallop dish and my Steak was cooked to a perfect Medium Rare as requested. We will definitely return and highly recommend.”

“This is a small establishment in Del Ray. I liked their appetizers better than the entree. We had fried calamari and mozzarella. Both were nicely done. Flavorful and not too chewy. I had the signature dish, which is basically a seafood pasta. The scallops were tasty, but the overall sauce was too sour and heavy. That overpowered the natural flavor of the seafood.”

“This is a terrific spot. Came here for restaurant week and the food was delicious - from appetizer to dessert. The "Duck 2 Ways" was one of the best dishes I've had. Brunch here was also great, and an awesome value. Surrounding area is cool, and the whole setup of the restaurant/bar is unique. Top spot!”

“Fantastic for brunch. When my parents are in town we'll usually go here on Sunday mornings before they head out. Only issue is that it's a bit lacking in seating on busy days (which Sunday brunches usually are) so either get there early, be lucky, or be ready to wait for a spot/share with another group (not necessarily a bad thing!). But seriously, their breakfast sandwich is AMAZING!!!”
