“We LOVE this place! The food is so good and literally the perfect amount to leave stuffed and content. Honestly I could eat an entire vat of the collard greens here THEY ARE AMAZING. Highly recommend!”

“Tonkatsu ramen was absolutely delicious! And large portion. Gyoza was good too. Even though it's in a food court it's a 5 star experience! Staff was very friendly as well”

“Inka is doing some pretty interesting stuff. They have a massive menu of things that are mostly unfamiliar to an American customer and that seems to indicate something about their authenticity. I cant wait to try their whole menu. Their ceviche is very good and very limey! Its a nice atmosphere, nice location, and quick service.”

“Had the tenders (with spicy ranch), the mother clucker, herb wings and chicken biscuit. Tenders had a great herb flavor and it was a huge portion. The clucker was crunchy and delicious…herb Mayo was lighter than I would have thought. Biscuit itself was delicious and with the chicken a and a little honey, it was so good. The herb wings were special. Perfect blend of sweet, spicy and savory.”

“I wish we had stopped to take a picture of the amazing three meat spread we had but we were too excited to eat. WOW this place was delicious. We ended up here after another local BBQ spot was closed and I'm happy fate took us here. Brisket was great texture, pulled pork was super flavorful, and the chicken was perfect. Baked Mac and cheese with hot sauce and cornbread muffins were the perfect accompaniments. We sampled their limited release pastrami... that is pastrami done right! Bark was impeccable. Aside from the great food the dynamic duo behind the vision, Mike and Gabi, were extremely inviting and friendly. They even stopped out by the table to talk shop for a bit. Definitely the hometown atmosphere we were looking for. Will be back, highly recommend”

“Great food, great service. Popped in here after arriving to town. Menu seems delicious and it was hard to choose. I went with the chicken and gnocchi; it was great. The broth was tasty and great when sopped up with a piece of bread. Great local wine selection. I would return without hesitation. Give this place a try. It is worth your time and money.”

“I was visiting the area over the weekend & stopped in to Random Row for lunch & a brew. My overall experience was outstanding. The beers were all brewed perfectly to style, with just the right amount of flavor, and most were under 6% ABV, which made for an enjoyable session. The pizza was delicious & hit the spot. The service provided by the bartender, Mark, was sensational. He was knowledgeable about the beers, courteous, friendly & attentive. It all made for a really pleasant afternoon. I highly recommend this pub & hope to return if I am in town again.”

“I’m currently in my room at Dinsmoore inn. We spent the night last night and it was fantastic! Veda is absolutely amazing, and there’s another lady here (not sure her name) who has been incredibly helpful! My wife and I will be back back here! They went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing stay! Honestly, the best place we have ever stayed!”

“My wife and I stayed in the Draftsman Hotel in mid-June. We had dinner one night at The Ridley, the restaurant in the hotel. I always order one Bombay Saffire martini at the beginning of the meal. The martini came in a smaller glass than a normal martini glass. I didn't want to complain, but when it was soon gone, I ordered another. When I got the check at the end of the meal, I was surprised at the total. Carefully examining the bill, I saw that EACH martini had cost $16. So about one third of our bill was for the two martinis in little glasses that were only mediocre at best. Just for comparison, the next evening we ate at one of the finest restaurants in Charlottesville. The one martini I enjoyed that night cost $8.00.”

“The drinks were delicious and the decor was beautiful. I also liked that the straws were paper so you could recycle them. Their limeade had sugar on the side so you could control the sweetness level, so thoughtful and health conscious. Their selfie-inspiring floral wall was a cute surprise- highly recommend going there!”

“I would recommend giving it a try - they give generous portions, the meat is well-cooked and flavorful, it’s quick, and it’s filling. I also heard that a Korean Fried Chicken sandwich might be on the way so I’ll definitely review that if they get it. Both the beef and the pork are good ($8.50-$9.50). If you like spice, I would go for the pork. If not, I’d go for the beef. They also have combination where you get half and half - and that’s the one I always get. They serve meat over plain rice with a few vegetables (not a whole lot of vegetables, it’s more rice/meat heavy). I do wish it had more vegetables though, and the rice is more on the side of sticky rice. Because the meat is so flavorful, it works well to eat with the rice which is very plain. They also have a spicy sauce which (if you don’t like spice) I recommend asking for it without the sauce. If you like spice - get the sauce! It adds an incredible kick to the meal. I would recommend it as the bowls are unique for the area and they’ll likely be expanding there menu. Follow me for more #shameless reviews”

“The main food in this picture is the barbecue but I really should have highlighted the street corn. Out of everything here, that was my favorite thing I ordered. The barbecue was okay, it was actually too sweet for me with the extra sauce. The mac and cheese and green beans were also okay. My mom got the fried chicken though, and that tasted delicious. Next time I'm getting the chicken and the corn!”

“I have been to both Chimm's and Chimm St for both takeout and dine in and my experiences have always been excellent. Chimm St holds true to what I know all of their resturaunts have to offer. The Pho is always on point. Thanks for making your food accessible, delicious, and also making one happy customer.”

“Fairly new laid-back fine dining on the west end of the Dairy Market, serving tapas as well as main entrees. Very flexible in accommodating large parties last minute, such as combining tables in our case for a party of seven. Nothing spectacular about the food, but plenty of beer, cocktails, and wine to choose. All of which may be over-priced; but hey- lets support our local restaurant industry post COVID! Our server Eleanor (Ellie) was great and exhibited patience with our little craziness.”

“We came here when for their happy hour and had some of their appetizers which were behind the glass case at the inside front of the restaurant. We sat at the bar. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our server even gave us a drink sample. My favorite appetizers were the lobster egg and the salmon roll. Their entrees looked too. We also got a couple of their desserts, a rose dessert and a cheesecake. The rose dessert was surprisingly good— and I don’t normally like the taste of rose. The cheesecake was unique and different from regular cheesecake. Since the space is limited inside, I recommend getting a reservation. We just happened to come at a good time when there weren’t many people. They also have a small patio. Lovely little French restaurant in the downtown mall.”

“GO TO THE DAIRY MARKET AND EAT AT DINOS!! I loved eating at Dino's during my visit to the Dairy Market that I came back twice. I first had the buffalo chicken wrap, which was super yummy and paired well with the lettuce in the wrap—followed up the next day by visiting Dino's for rotisserie chicken. The chicken was super fresh, and we were told it was from local chickens in Harrisonburg. Unsure on the sauce's exact name, but Dino's orange sauce paired great with the rotisserie chicken and sides (we had plantains and salad). I highly recommend eating at Dino's for both a healthy and yummy meal. This is my new go-to spot now for either a light lunch or a hearty dinner!”

“Great spot for takeaway! Got the Virginia Ham and Turkey with fixings - and definitely a fan of our house sauce! Make sure to double check your order before leaving if you are picking up (some items were missing from our big office order), but everyone was very quick and kind in fixing it for me! Will definitely be back!”

“Ten tries a little too hard to be edgy and trendy, but the food is excellent. It's not going to be a low-cost experience, but the quality of both the raw materials and the preparation are top-notch. The Ten Hamachi is a particularly excellent dish, though it might be enough to feed a very small person. The lighting is low enough that your cell phone flashlight may be necessary for you to read the menu, and the music is definitely loud and annoying. If I were 25 and with-it, it probably wouldn't bother me, but I'm neither, and it does. But all of that said, the dinner was excellent. I'd just prefer it a bit quieter and less edgy, but that's just septuagenarian me. Service is also very good, if a bit too obsequious.”

“Always friendly, fantastic service and even better pastries. My favorite are the macarons, I drive a little over an hour for the delicious treats and it is well worth the drive.”
