“So my family usually does Chinese food for Christmas Eve but this year I convinced them to do Thai instead because I'd heard how good this place was and, let me tell you, I think this may be the annual spot. Everything here was pretty much top notch. We got a reservation the day before, though it ended up being pretty quiet when we arrived, and were immediately seated upon entering. The look of the place is a cool mix of trendy (social media friendly pictures available all over this place) and sleek modern. Something I don't normally notice but seating was really comfortable too. Our server was quick and friendly and we got a few appetizers before the main meal all of which were good. The main dishes were portioned well and just tasted out of this world good. Even better was all of the entrees can be ordered at 3 levels of heat so some in our party could enjoy tamer meals while those of us who like spicy could feel the burn. The drink menu has some really cool nontraditional options as well as standard fare and my mom and I each ordered a cocktail and they look so good and taste even better. I had one with sake, matcha, and Bailey's that just blew my mind with how good it was. Really, can't say enough good things about this place. We'll definitely be back!”

“We had a karaoke birthday party for my teenager, and the kids had a great time! We got a party package where they provided a large private karaoke room, 3 pizzas, and soda for 15 people. (Warning: 15 teenagers singing their hearts out at the same gets LOUD!) Chorus had it set up so that you could either use their karaoke system or switch to YouTube, so the kids were able to sing anything they wanted. There were also other features (too many to list) that made the karaoke way more special than anything we could do at home. The place was clean, and the people working there were very kind and helpful.”

I personally found the selection of English songs rather limited and the songs they did have in English surprised me, but I also acknowledge that I'm not the bar's target demographic. Prices were very reasonable. My only real complaint was the service. There is a button in the karaoke room that was supposed to call the bar staff so we could order drinks, etc, but no one would respond when we hit it; we ended up taking turns running out to place orders at the bar in person. I'm not sure if this is a common problem, though, because there was clearly some kind of event going on while we were there and the bar area was super packed.”

“Right out of the gate I we could tell that the music was way too loud. The lounge has a nice inviting atmosphere and plenty of hookahs for everyone and unlike other hookah bars I have been to, it is not overwhelmingly smokey or overpowering. We didn't smoke last night, but we ordered a couple of drinks. My lady ordered a margarita breeze, which she sipped and promptly pushed away because it was much too sweet. I ordered a drink called the scorpion, which was surprisingly good, but also kind of sweet, especially considering that it had 4 kinds of liquor in it, I was expecting a more alcoholic flavor. The staff took their time to get to our table, but once they did they were excellent. They were courteous and efficient considering their limited walking space between tables and booths. The music was awesome, but there was also no dance floor to speak of, most people were dancing in their seats. If I had ant recommendations to improve this place it would be for them to reorganize their tables and booths, open up some space for a dance floor, and please, please, please tell the DJ to turn down the music a bit. The music was so loud that my ears felt it long after we left and whilst there could not have a conversation with anyone because we started to get hoarse from yelling at each other when trying to order drinks. It would have been a great spot to hang on a Saturday night, but the loud music sent us home early for the night.”

“I always LOVE Revolution, it's hidden off the main road so isn't busy. The service, drinks and food are always delicious. The bar also offers, pool tables, darts, connect four, jenga and foosball table. Another thing I love about this bar, it is very spacious. I've hosted my birthday party here with fifty people or so, and there is never any issue in space or long wait for drinks. Overall, I'd recommend this bar if you are looking for something low key with good drinks.”

“The interior is large and definitely looks enough like a pub. The drink prices are reasonable, particularly for happy hour. The food is above average with some notably unique offerings such as the Dublin rolls (egg rolls with corned beef) and a nice sampler platter. The menu has enough variety and the service is good. There's occasionally live music, usually on Friday and Saturday nights, so be aware that there may be a cover charge. Parking is easy and ample. There's also an outdoor area to sit as well when the weather is nice.”

“This place is expensive (we paid $100 for a small room with additional food), so plan on going with a group to split the bill. Expenses aside, this place is actually pretty nice as far as karaoke places go. It's nice to have the private rooms, and the microphones receive sound well. I've been to quite a few karaoke places, and the English songs at Lulu Cafe are far better than the great majority of the ones in Japan. That is, the voiceless karaoke background music that plays for each song is far better than many of the toneless songs I remember singing in Japan. The song list is a little outdated, but I think it could just be that the cafe doesn't get enough requests for new English songs.”

“My boyfriend and I visited Earl’s during a weekend in Tyson. It was close to our hotel which made it convenient. The decor was nice, there was a bar and some nice random seating for guest whom were just lounging or waiting to be seated at a table. I ordered a Caesar salad and added blackened chicken to it which was delicious. The chicken was moist and had a few crunchy pieces from being cooked. My boyfriend had a salmon bowl which he loved, which is saying a lot because he is very picky. Our waiter was nice and shared in some small talk and the food came out pretty fast. If you are looking for a quiet location this may not be it, because they do play music and accommodate large parties but the food was delicious and customer service was great. I will return.”

“Came in with my wife over the weekend to get some drinks and food during a long shopping day. Very pleased with the drinks and the service. “I've had Zaaki recommended to me a handful of times and went to check it out. What Zaaki may have lacked in its presentation was more than made you for by the experience. Admittedly the menus were dirty with old, dried food on some of the pages, but I didn't let that be too much of a bother. Between the appetizers, hookah, drinks, entree, and desserts my family and I had a wonderful time. The waiter, Abdool, was very patient and friendly, willing to answer any question about menu items. The food was great, and it felt less like we were just having lunch and more like we'd taken a quick trip to the Middle East. Will be coming here again!”
