“Wow. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with the usual: lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo. This particular burger came with barbecue meat of your choice: beef, chicken, or pork. I chose pork (with no sauce). The waitress said they only have one kind of sauce, and it's sweet. Not my thing. The meat is smoked there by the owner in a smoker right in the parking lot in front of the diner. When my burger came, it looked like a mini tower. There was a Huge pile of pulled pork on top that had crispy edges. Delicious! I didn't care for the burger. It was way too dense, like the meat had been worked too much. It had something added to it (maybe Worcestershire sauce) so, it tasted like a really hard meatloaf patty instead of a burger. But, that's old-school 50's style, and this IS a diner so . . . it's just not my style. Ordering a barbecue platter next time. ????”

“Never disappointed I can’t say enough good about this place. With many choices in Northern Virginia for good craft beer, Ornery takes it up a level. Not only do they have a great selection of craft beer, but they also offer an extended bar with cocktails and wine. Their food menu is on another level as well. Tonight I ordered jagerschnitzel, which is a gigantic pork chop that is breaded and fried on top of mashed potatoes and covered with mushroom and bacon gravy. It was the best meal I had all month. The portion was generous, flavor was fabulous and it came out hot. I may have to order a smaller dish next time so I have room for dessert. I saw some bread pudding come out served with ice cream that looked wonderful. I’ll have to order that first next time I come.”

“Great Irish pub with a nice selection of food and beer. There were several good beers on tap (Guinness, Killian's, Harp, etc.) and the menu had a good list of mixed drinks and wines. We got the fish and chips and the shepherd's pie; both were delicious. The staff was friendly and the pub had a very traditional Irish flair that added to the ambiance. Highly recommended for lunch or dinner, and I would definitely come back to the pub for a few drinks at the bar.”

“This is such a cute little bistro. The service was excellent. Our server was very attentive. The food was delicious and memorable. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. The medium cooked lamb was amazing. The steaks were juicy and the cuts chosen with care. The salmon could have been a little more rare but the glaze was so perfect that it didn't even matter that much. We now have a place to get perfectly cooked food. The chef came to our table and gave us some samples which elevated our experience. We will definitely be back.”

“My experience from start to finish was AMAZING. The scenery had a nice vibe, and the seating was very comfortable. I go to a lot of hookah bars and I can honestly say that this was the smoothest and best tasting hookah I've ever had. I ordered a couple appetizers and the kabob, and it was delicious. It was so much food I had to take some home. The best part about this whole thing was the efficient service and BEST PRICES. I go there at least 2 times a week now mainly because of the food and prices for the food as well as hookah.”
