“Guy taking our order felt very unfriendly and made the three of us kinda uncomfortable because he never smiled or nodded and just stared at us while I gave the order. I wanted the Classic burger but with a chicken patty instead (I’m allergic to beef) so I said that to him. He seemed confused so I made sure to say “that’s with a chicken patty and NO beef” again when he repeated our order. Everything seemed to be in order and the other stuff we ordered came out (although the chicken tenders were really small and I was worried my brother wasn’t going to be full enough) and the food we got tasted good, milkshake was really good! My order came out with beef... when I refused it the (who I’m guessing was the manager/lead on duty) came and asked why I refused what I had ordered. I explained to her how I ordered it and felt bad because I know it wasn’t her fault, her worker just clearly misunderstood. However, I felt that I was very clear when ordering and I’ve never had issues ordering a menu item that originally comes with a beef patty with a non-beef substitute at other restaurants before. It still seemed like an issue because she kept saying “we don’t do it that way” until she finally asked “so you want all the same toppings as the classic but with a chicken patty?” and I said yes. I had to wait for them to remake the whole thing and felt bad my younger siblings had to wait on me, especially because it was late at night. The sandwich ended up being OK. They made the situation right in the end, but it was really frustrating having to explain something that I feel was really easy so many times :( my sister loves the cheesy burger though and gets it every time! Expect her to be a repeat customer. I don’t live in the area so I probably won’t go back during my visits to Ashburn :/”

“This is THE Bagel Shop. I have been coming here and ordering the same thing (Sausage, Egg & Cheese on a Jalapeño Bagel) for years and have yet to find any other bagel shop that competes! This shop has changed owners a few times and the new ones are not super friendly, but overall the staff is the same... and great breakfast bagels! “The food is fairly priced, the menu extensive, particularly for a breakfast & lunch-only place. Interestingly, the food is very NON-greasy. The eggs were not "slick" w/ grease and the hash browns did not leave a greasy residue on the plate. The omelettes were EXCELLENT and the eggs-over-easy were flawless. Like most people on this site, I did not appreciate the lack of assigned wait staff. "Every waiter is your waiter" means no one is your waiter. I suggest that as a marketing ploy it be continued, and co-operation between wait staff encouraged. However, behind the scenes, each table should have a primary designated server. Bottom line: I am frequently dissatisfied with breakfast at most restaurants. THIS PLACE DID NOT DISAPPOINT. It was MUCH BETTER than the usual IHOP/Pancake/Waffle House fare”

It would be ordered again Ultimate burger, had to be taken back as it was not made as requested and even when it was brought back it still wasn't correct. Fish & chips, I would not order again. It was probably 60% breading and 40% fish. The breading was so thick in some places, it was saturated in oil. It was also so thick I wasn't sure the fish was completely cooked. It was thankfully. The cheesecake desert seemed as if it were nothing more than "store bought". Strawberry sauce is not - 4 thinly sliced strawberry pieces. Chocolate chip cookie avalanche was ordered for two, I would suggest three or more. I would not recommend it for just one person. Too much and a bit too rich. Kudos to our server - Lindsey U., she was very nice and quick. Drink refills were quick and we didn't need to ask for them. Requests for additional condiments did not take long.”

“Great service! We were a group of six. Our waitress was good, and a gentleman helping out (I wish I had gotten his name - had a cool hat) was awesome. Drinks were always filled. The appetizers at the V are great. Must get the pork pops and ahi nachos. I had the Cuban this time, and it was pretty good. My only complaint is after having steak twice, it's not that great. The seafood, however, is definitely good. Great place to have a good time.”

“Yen's Kitchen is one of our go-to places for lunch at work. The food is consistently good and the little things that they do show that they care about their food and the customers. When we order fried food, sesame fish or eggplant which are my favorites, they will leave the lid off of the container and put it in a paper bag with the top open to let the steam escape. This makes it super crispy even when we are not dining in. Also, I can always tell the food was fried in clean oil because the batter is beautiful light yellow color. “Went during lunch for the buffet. The items are limited, but a good selection and very tasty. The service was good; used plates didn't last long on the table, but there were only a few tables seated before the full lunch rush. Plain naan was good and just the right amount of chew for my liking. I'm not a vegetarian, but really enjoyed it. Definitely would come back again.”
