You get a pretty big portion for what you pay for and I've tried many places and the flavors are always off, but everything I've had here is delicious. She is NOT rude... Seriously why don't you try being bilingual and not only having to learn two languages but also learn the formalities of "politeness" on top of basic communication? I think they are actually very kind as they gave me complimentary fresh, hot donuts and the sweetest thank you note. Give them a chance!”

“Stopped here on a whim driving through Richmond. Some of the best pizza I've had in my life. I still dream of it. The staff was also extraordinarily friendly, and when we accidentally knocked over the marinara sauce (which I had earlier remarked 'My God, this marinara!') the cashier immediately came to help us clean up and brought us more. In a sit down restaurant this is great service, but there's 2 tables at 8 1/2, they don't expect many people to stay and eat.”

“I’m a huge bowl person and Roots makes some of the best bowls out there. Ingredients are extremely fresh and the portions are definitely generous. You get what you pay for. I recommend the El Jefe and Southern bowls, but I’ve enjoyed all that I have tried. Highly recommend as a healthy lunch or dinner option!”
