“A very popular breakfast/brunch spot in Richmond. I'd try and make a reservation so you can avoid long waits. We had pretty good service and my food was excellent. I ordered the chicken and red velvet waffles. The chicken was very good. It's seasoned very well and very juicy. If you're struggling on what to order you can't go wrong with that.”

“I really like this place. It's becoming my go-to lunch spot. The food is made to order and always delightful. The old owners weren't very friendly so the new and refreshed spot is such a plus! The lunch special is unbeatable. It's small so don't bring a big crowd but a cute date night spot.”

“Absolutely amazing service and beers!! We stopped in while traveling during happy hour and received great service from DJ. We wanted to stop the next day and grab some Togo beer. Farris let us come in a little early before opening to grab a pint at the bar and help set us up with Togo beer. Great conversation and beer! We will definitely be back! You guys have some great stuff going! Cheers!”

“Was so excited to hear about this place! I am a huge fan of their other restaurants so we made sure we came to try them out their first day. It was delicious! Great beer menu as expected. I got the turkey sandwich and boyfriend got the pulled pork sandwich. We tried the Mac & cheese, cornbread, & slaw. Their take on Mac & cheese was mouthwatering—definitely try it. Cornbread was moist and the perfect amount of sweet and salty. Slaw was wet and crunchy (a good thing). Sandwiches were juicy and packed with flavor. Service was good too—our server gave us a nice amount of space and left us to it, which we personally appreciated, however for the first day of opening I feel like other guests will want a bit more of a connection and information about this new spot! Still kept our drinks filled and asked us if we needed anything which is all we need for great service! We are totally returning and will recommend!”

“Really awesome atmosphere and happy hour is incredible. Seriously. Drinks & food. Definitely stop by. I got a big bowl of mussels for FIVE DOLLARS on happy hour and a couple nicely priced cocktails. Stop by. It's worth it.”

“Place was paaaaaaacked, and it was pretty clear why. Food was great. Staff was great, and the atmosphere was very nice. My only reason for the 4 star was drink prices. Yes, they're signature cocktails and don't get me wrong, they're fantastic. However, it didn't seem like the amount you get was indicative of the price of the drink. I had a $12 beverage and it came out in a rocks glass that was mostly occupied by a giant cube of ice. It was likely only 3-4oz. of beverage in the glass. The menu prices are very reasonable, and worth every penny.”

“OMG! This place really took me to New Orleans. Loved the Jambalaya Dog and fries. The atmosphere is so chill. Can't wait for a girl's night out here.”

“Went for trivia night. The trivia was fun, about 7 teams competing. The place itself needs a complete remodel. It smelled like vomit/sewage depending on where you stood, the tables felt like they may never have been wiped down, and the bathroom facilities are a joke for a full service restaurant. 3 stars because we took second place in both rounds of trivia.”

“Always great food. Not same old bar food. Chefs with talent! Great staff and views.”

“Bring a big appetite and a hungry stomach! This place ain’t joking when it come to pizza. Slices are bigger than your head! I got an entire pie and it was a struggle to get it in my car - had to walk backwards out of the restaurant just to get it through the door. Definitely the biggest pizza’s in Richmond! Very delicious, well-crafted, delightful pizza.”

“This place was awesome, my wife and I saw a sign for a slow drip Old Fashioned so we knew we had to try it. We popped in real quick and had a few drinks. The bartender was very nice and the drinks were well done! Definitely try the slow drip Old Fashioned, it was well worth it!”

“Food was excellent - vegan veggie scramble is super good. In a historic building with a lot of character. Service was fantastic. Def recommend when visiting Richmond.”

“Wonderful, well-rounded menu. Little bit of everything. Interesting and fun specials. I like to take family/friends from out of town here for a casual lunch or dinner. Glassed in outside seating is nice in all weather. Hip vibe. Courteous staff so far. Good drink specials during happy hour. One of my favorites in RVA. My husband and I both eat for $30 bucks including taxes. Three Monkeys is a definite favorite. Can recommend the wraps, burgers, and pizza, thin steak and shake style fries, pasta salad and like I said, the specials are very tasty so far. Can be busy and have to wait for a table sometimes is the only downside and that's no big deal and usually a good sign for a restaurant. Make a reservation if you have a big party or want an outside booth.”

“First timer. Went with my adult kids who live near by. Got the sweet potato sandwich. It was fantastic! The salad not so much the greens were getting old. Loved the sign " breastfeeding welcomed".”

“I'm not vegan, I had the black bean burger and it was absolutely delicious!! I believe the bread was made on site.. food is made to order. Portions were filling..the price a little higher than a non vegan food. Customer service good.”

“First time checking this place out. They had a great live band called Garage Dreams playing and we very much enjoyed them. Pretty spacious place. Cool sofa area, lots of tables also watched some division baseball games. Lots of tv, game room in the back with a pool table. Definitely would come back, especially with that band!”

“Went during a Friday lunch service. The food was excellent! The staff was friendly and timely. The decor is sort of retro chic, but has a warm vibe to it. And the prices were reasonable given the portion sizes. I'll definitely look forward to going back there.”

“Definitely go back! The food was awesome other than more spicy compared to what the waitress told me. Each to his own I know. The service was good too! Everything was prompt and in a timely manner except I had to ask for some more water several times due to the heat.”

“Had the oysters and they were amazing. The crab cake sandwich with salad was perfect and not to much food or too little and the crab cake was just pure crab. It was amazing. Very good bartender. I plan to come back on a Tuesday because they apparently have 1/2 bottle of wine and $25 three course meal menus. All in all another Richmond gem”

“A few months ago we had the opportunity to visit Thailand for two weeks. Mom’s was absolutely phenomenal. The indoor decor was so authentic and the food immediately took us back! The service was great and the food was even better! The drunken noodles is our personal favorite! The authenticity of this food is wonderful. While we can’t wait to go back to Thailand, Mom’s brought Thailand to us and for now that will definitely do!”

“Small menu but great food, nice vibe. They have good prices on their sushi and some nice specials to choose from. Their miso soup is a little plain, without any tofu, but nothing here I’ve tried has been anything less than good. A great sushi place to go to on a budget or even when you have some good spending money.”

“A small hole in the wall bar with live music every night. Some of the bands were better than others, and the drink prices were good. The pours are heavy, and the bar was busy but not overcrowded. Bathrooms are not especially clean, but this place has an overall grungy feel so I wasn’t really surprised. We did not eat the food, so I can’t comment on that.”

“Perfect place to grab some beer and watch a sunset from the rooftop. Friendly and attentive staff will keep you well taken care of. Also, there is a small performance space on the second floor that is perfect for up close and personal shows. And if you'd rather a more traditional bar space, there's the first floor.”

“Authentic Cuban cuisine with a unique atmosphere. The staff were friendly and it was enjoyable to have the opportunity to watch them in action as they cooked and prepared the food. The location is small (or cozy if you like) so if you go during peak times, be prepared to wait or get lucky like we did and sit at the "bar" where it's first come first serve.”

“Stopped here on a whim driving through Richmond. Some of the best pizza I've had in my life. I still dream of it. The staff was also extraordinarily friendly, and when we accidentally knocked over the marinara sauce (which I had earlier remarked 'My God, this marinara!') the cashier immediately came to help us clean up and brought us more. In a sit down restaurant this is great service, but there's 2 tables at 8 1/2, they don't expect many people to stay and eat.”
