“I was in a couple weekends ago with my two daughters after their soccer game, and the girl behind the counter was so helpful! My daughters did not know what they wanted, and she helped them through it, making suggestions. Even when more people came in through the door, she remained professional and got us out as fast as possible. Her coworker seemed to get in her way a lot, but that can be expected from a small place. Overall, a great place to eat after Saturday morning soccer games! Customer service is 10/10 and so is the sandwich”

“If you a fan of meaty taste rather than toppings on a burger, this might be the place for you. The meat patties are large and somewhat overpower the other flavors. Personally, I prefer a better balance between the two. The wait staff recommends the fried pickles and they are unlike most of the other varieties of this usually wonderful side. They have cornmeal breading and the pickles are thinly sliced lengthwise. It's good, but not my favorite version. Prices are high and the wait can be long, but the service is good.”

Our food was absolutely fantastic, the best Mexican cuisine we've had in the Puget Sound area. The drinks we ordered were very tasty, well made, with ample alcohol. The owner is a gem. “I was so excited to go to Chan's because I'd heard such good things about it. I was sorely disappointed. We had to wait an inordinate amount of time for our main dishes. I'm talking like almost 30 minutes after we received our soup. The server was apathetic and came to the table infrequently. The sizzling rice soup was quite tasty, though the rice did not crackle whatsoever when dropped in the soup. The Special Egg Foo Young was so salty I could not eat it. The sake was not hot, but barely lukewarm. Chan's does give you large, generous servings and the atmosphere is pleasant. I hope others have a better experience.”

“The owners are gracious and helpful. I had a function at my home and needed individual deserts for my guests. Not only did they supply fabulous treats, but they came in on Monday ,in which they are closed, so I could have fresh deserts and baguettes. My guests felt so special because of the wonderful fruit tarts, chocolate ganache- cream rolls and black forest cakes. I can't wait for nicer weather when the charming private patio will be open.”

“I just finished eating here and it was the best meal I and my company have had in a good while. I started with the Corpse Reviver cocktail which was amazing. I am usually not one for cocktails since many restaurants skimp on the alcohol but this cocktail was perfect. All of our entrees (burgers, soup and small plates) were phenomenal. The chicken in my sister-in-laws sandwich was the best chicken I think I have ever had. The burger my husband had was delicious and my soup was mind blowing. Don't sleep on Hollywood Tavern. This place is nothing short of amazing!”

“Wow, what an experience I had here last Friday night. My wife and I got a take out order and it was spectacular. Angela greeted me upon arrival and ensured I had the best experience possible. The food was absolutely gorgeous and it was huge portions. Homemade everything and it was genuine Italian cuisine. Angela checked the order and made sure I had bread and everything we ordered was in the bag. I will be a return customer and again, I think this place is wonderful. “Barking Frog was a suggestion from my aunt while we were in town and it was excellent. My brother and sister had the Bloody Mary, which had a beef stick, bacon, pickled asparagus, olive and celery. They both said it was savory and filling for a drink. The beignets were hot and fluffy and the huckleberry cream cheese was very flavorful I had the biscuits and gravy and added the fried chicken. The biscuits were buttery and flaky and the gravy was savory. The chicken was moist and juicy. My girlfriend had the crab cake Benedict which the bite I had was packed with flavor as well. Our server was attentive and kept our drinks full. Overall, it was a great experience.”

“It has great ambiance, but they need a sign saying parking available in rear! The service and staff were excellent...I had a beer while waiting for my pizza. I ordered a large and thus is the first place in Washington I've tried that has a real LARGE! Unfortunately, the bottom of the crust was burnt and the cheese on top was undercooked. I'm going to go back to give them a chance to prove my first impression of the pizza was wrong. And hopefully give them a 5 star rating!”

“We love this place! Their filet is amazing. Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. However, my lower rating is due to the 20% service charge they add to the bill which clearly states it isn’t part of the tip. Our dinner for 2 was $130 for food & wine and then ended up being $200 with service charge and tip. If a restaurant needs to charge more, I get it. Just add it into the menu pricing. Don’t pull this surprise service charge nonsense. Sadly, we won’t be back.”

“Delightful evening spent here recently with friends. We ordered paella and appetizers including the crispy brussel sprouts and the fall fondue. Everything was delicious and paired wonderfully with the bottle of malbec we shared. It was rainy when we visited, but they have outdoor seating with fireplaces that looked cozy. We will have to visit again on a spring evening. Easily walkable to many tasting rooms. Plenty of parking on a Saturday evening. Highly recommend.”
