“Jack in the Box, to me, is not what it used to be. I recall thinking the Jumbo Jack was the best thing ever. It is definitely not the same. The burger was dry, and while the french fries were fresh and hot and really, really good, the hamburger was a disappointment. I still go to Jack In The Box, and I always get there to get their secret sauce, it's more out of a sense of loyalty and nostalgia. Your experience may be different.”

“It was okay. I'd seen this place while driving home. The fact that they have a smoker out front seemed like a good indication that they might actually know what they're doing. I went in and ordered the brisket. The restaurant was quiet and looked clean. The brisket special came with a side of beans and another side option of potato salad, Cole slaw, macaroni salad or cornbread. Okay so let me stop right there. When did cornbread become a side dish? I don't know maybe it is just me, but where I'm from, you don't offer cornbread as a side dish. Anyway, I chose macaroni salad but paid over a dollar extra for cornbread. To my dismay, the cornbread was small and cold. Not at all what I expected. The beans and macaroni salad were decent but nothing to write home about. The brisket was tender, sauce okay. All in all, I was hungry and I ate it. It was a decent meal and I satisfied my curiosity but I am still on the hunt for the best BBQ restaurant. To the owners, cornbread is a big deal, make it bigger, warm it up, don't make it a side dish option.”

“Been eating here 20 years. Back then it was the best on the planet and would have gotten 5 stars. Something has changed in the last 5-10 years. I don't think it's new owners but maybe new management or cooks. The old menu was way better, the prices are high and the food is just not as good. It's still good but not as good as it once was. The hot and sour soup is a totally unique version of hot and sour than I've ever seen and it is my favorite by far but over the last few years something has changed with it and it's different. Still good but not Amazing. Pretty much goes for the rest of the menu I think. I'm not sure but I think you get less when you take out then if you ate there in person. It sure seems like it anyway. Add all that together with their bizarre schedule and hours and it's just not what it was. We still go there from time to time but probably a quarter or less of what we used to. Sad. Bring back the old days!”

They also have Prime Rib, Rib eye steak, Beyond Burgers, baked potatoes, great potato fries, veggie options, lots of desserts, real dairy butter, real dairy creamer. You won't be hungry after you leave. Nice friendly Idaho, Montana type atmosphere, and decore, and a small Black Bear themed gift area. Try it!????”

“I always get the all you can eat lunch deal. The food there is always good, tho they did take my favorite rolls off the menu. The staff is nice but it really depends on the time of day you go. 12-1 they're pretty busy and depending on the chef, you dont get your orders in a timely fashion. The waiters are not always attentive either, but they're fairly nice when you stop them and ask for something. Overall a decent sushi place that I frequent weekly.”
