“We went to the theater there to watch Dr. Doolittle. Best movie ever btw. Also went to a little store called The Purple Peacock. Lots of really cool items. Everything there is very unique. Will definitely be back to both the theater (which has the most comfortable and biggest movie seats I've ever sat in) and the cute Purple Peacock store. Definitely worth visiting.”

“Food was great and table service was wonderful and friendly! Hostess was definitely a sour note. We arrived early and half of our party perused the adjacent shops and half waited in the bar. I informed her of this, and then received a text that our table was ready.When we returned she stated that she didn’t know where we had gone, and when I reminded her that half of our party was waiting in the bar, she replied that she didn’t have time to check the bar! Very unusual for any restaurant! Didn’t ruin our experience, but was not pleasant.”

“Always a great option for a quick-fix for fish and chips! Don't expect it to be any cheaper than a fancy sit-down restaurant, but the food is totally up to par with those other close-by restaurants! We love their thick fries that are crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. We usually order the halibut but we also like the cod. We love their blackberry basil lemonade, and the soft-serve is always a nice alternative to other long-lined ice cream shops nearby.”

“Great food, great service. Came in Valentine's day at about eight. The place was packed. Servers did pretty good despite the circumstance. The place is cozy but well put together. Nice decor. The only negative was the noise. It was loud. However I imagine it isn't as bad on a normal night. Our steak and fish were cooked perfectly. The desert was outstanding. Everything was above par!”

“Drive in and drive through which is unique since all other establishments discontinued this form of service. I like to be able to park and order, get your food and eat at your leisure. Finished with a cigarette or whatever. Nice change of pace, and staff are quick. In Idaho they have Sonics that still have staff on roller skates; which is awesome. It was cool to watch and just as fun watching them serve on skates (betting on if they will drop or bail-never happened on my visits). I wish this location did this as well, but I am sure weather is a factor why they don't. The food is great, ice cream and dessert is great, and I would say better than DQ blizzard or McDonald's ice cream choices. Check it out!”

“I live in California and I was visiting my son in Tacoma. He took me to the Waffle Stop, 1st time going there. I had the Strawberry Cheesecake Waffle with a side of their Sausage and Coffee. The Best Waffle I've ever had in my life!! The Sausage & Coffee was really good too but I recommend the Strawberry Cheesecake Waffle to everyone!! Great service, overall...I give it a 5 star eatery. “Excellent service. We had a Birthday Party of about 45-50 people with one server. She efficiently took our orders for drinks and appetizers and other servers delivered them timely. Our dinners were served promptly and I would say all were served within 10 to 15 minutes by a multitude of servers. There may have been one missing dinner but was rectified quickly. The food was excellent. Altogether an excellent experience”
