“I had some good memories here. The lemonade is memorable. I like that they have fried green tomatoes. I can't even find green tomatoes at the grocery! The portions are generous and the people are very good about getting yum into your tongue. I would recommend this place to people who like southern food. Grew up with eating this kind of food at my school so I feel at home when I eat their menu.”

“So this was a randomly selected restaurant based on cuisine and location. (The closest greek restaurant in relation to the Tacoma Art Museum. ) I am so glad I went! The portions were perfect for me and the food was delicious. The kids pizza was amazing, the gyros were flavorful and everyone in my party was pleased!”

“Authentic and great tasting food. Definitely best to order to go. Very small amount of seating and the parking lot is super crammed. The prices are great though.”

“Went to Stink the other night and just loved it. The atmosphere is totally casual and comfortable. There is a restaurant side and a bar side. The food was wonderful! We shared three tappas and they were delicious! It was quiet enough to talk and listen which I enjoyed very much. There is only street parking so I had to circle a few times to find a space, but it was totally worth it. Try it out!!”

“I was recommended this spot and gave it a try the same day. I initially had my reservations when I arrived as the two ladies working were fairly young and they have double the menu of other Hawaiian restaurants in the area. Add to that their workspace is small. With that said, never judge a book by its cover! I got the Chicken Trio and I was blown away. Everything was made to perfection even down to the Mac salad. Instantly one of my favorite spots in town. Customer service was great as well. Go check it out and support them, they deserve your business!”

“My wife and I dropped in this past Friday- you seat yourself, which we appreciated because we picked a window seat. Our server was immediate and attentive. It was our first time and so it took a bit to figure out what we wanted and we didn't have to wait long with our server. We started out with two gimlets, it was our first ever and they were delicious. We also order eggs Benedict and they were delicious. Drink's were great! Food was great and we will be back very soon!”

“Oh my you can taste the love! Walked here from hospital in search of real food that would meet my dietary restrictions (gf, egg free and dairy free) because the hospital food just didn’t cut it. My young kids ate a pint each and my husband and I did too! So tasty thank you for soul soup! Customer service was super too! Very patient with us as sometimes kids and lets be honest parents too take a while to decide when there are so many yummy choices.”

“We stopped in around 1:30 to celebrate my husband's. They have a new item on the menu. They have vegan tacos that were absolutely delicious. I love the way they introduce new items and if they are successful, they go on the regular menu. The wait staff are always friendly and helpful. Love Duke's Ruston Way!”

“I really like this little restaurant. They have good food and a cozy atmosphere. This is not the place to go if you are in a rush, they arent super fast but the food is really good and fresh and worth the wait; good sandwiches and soups and a really tasty brie platter. My only complaint is that it gets really loud in there during the lunch rush and it can be hard to hear.”

“Great view and atmosphere! Pizza is delicious. Wish they had late night happy hour all week long, 3 days isn't enough. Service is awesome :)”

“Great food, cold and great beer with solid service. It is not a large place so be prepared to wait for a spot or get come ready to stand and drink. Very cool atmosphere and friendly staff with tons of beer and cider choices”

“This was a good choice for an impromptu Friday night meal out. The place was busy and we didn't have reservations but we didn't have to wait long, maybe 5 minutes The hired help was friendly, helpful and prompt. There was a good selection of tasty and different beers available. My wife was impressed with the eclectic surroundings and with the fact that the menu is changed to a new theme every four months. This the images of menus in reviews here are likely out of date. She had the special of the day which was bouillabaisse. She said it was delicious. I had the sole that was drenched in a lemon caper sauce, also quite good. The meals are not pretentious, just good to eat and not that expensive.”

“This truck is pumping out the same quality as sit down restaurants at cheaper prices! Beats competing Mexican restaurants by a long shot for price/quantity. Do yourself a favor and support this business asap. The super burritos are great!”

“5 stars. We were greeted with friendly, welcoming smiles. We sat on the enclosed heated outdoor deck. The food and drinks were simply amazing. Rachel was our Server, this young lady made our dining experience that much better. She was very friendly, it was like we knew her for years. She had us laughing and smiling. It's a must do when in Tacoma. We will definitely be back with a group of our friends.”

“Frisko Freeze is one of the local gems that has stood the test of time & change. With a simple menu yet full of flavor with each item, I can see why many people come here just for a burger & shake, fish & chips, or shrimp basket! I had a double cheeseburger with fries & butterscotch shake. Yeah, don't even think to compare In-N-Out to this place & this is coming from a California native. I love a good burger stand & Frisko Freeze gave downtown Tacoma a great gem for more years to come. Small & simple place yet big flavor. Don't cheat yourself, treat yourself!”

“Awesome Sunday brunch! Great options of fresh food to even include oyster shooters. Great price for the selection and even includes non alcoholic drinks. Finally found an awesome Sunday brunch spot will definitely be back many more Sundays. Definitely call ahead and make reservations. Will be nice in the summer with the outdoor waterfront seating.”

“Amazing establishment with great food and drink. The staff and owners are amazing. Check out the food special when your in there, always fantastic. The place is even better on a weekend morning for breakfast if you're a soccer fan. They always have the Premier League on and any game that's available. Ask about the Jameson bottles on the wall. Can't wait to return.”

“Great food, amazing craft beer! We are Mug Club members that get us invited to the Ram's in WA and ID. We get discounts and special offers... as well as BEER :-) Last night we were invited to the Tacoma Ram's Brewer's Dinner (30 min from Lacey). Tacoma's waterfront is a must-see! What a great place to go see it. Sit out on the back deck on the water or in the bar and enjoy the tallest bar in Washington. The Brewer's Dinner was a 4 coarse meal with 4 different craft beers to complement each course. Brew Master Kevin was very engaging. It was interesting hearing how the beer is crafted at different locations and distributed. We are excited to try out the other Ram locations. The food is always good and especially prepared last night. Put this on your Washington short bucket list!”

“Pleasant atmosphere. Most food prepared well. My Huckleberry Salmon salad was minus the Huckleberries, so almost a complete disappointment. The salmon was delicious. Our waitress did not charge me for the salad in the end. The other items our table ordered for lunch were tasty and well prepared; halibut and chips, prawns and chips and cod and chips.”

“I was pleasantly surprised on my first visit the other day. I really was expecting something completely different. I walked into a very classy neighborhood bar, not the sort of dive I just assumed was Hank's Bar. I don't know why I thought that. Maybe because the likes of the Unicorn and Terry's which are two neighborhood bars I know and like could be classified as dive bars. Hank's is nice. Rich dark paneling, with box beam ceilings and clean throughout are what I immediately noticed. There is a nice liquor selection and we had great pizza too. I'll have to come back again for sure. I might have found a new spot.”

“Best German restaurant in Tacoma. But it's not just a restaurant, there are lots of fun games such as mini golf. My two year old absolutely loved it and we had such a good time. The food is so delicious and the portion is huge. We ordered sausage sampler. It's enough for 3 or 4 people to share and it came with super yummy fries. The giant pretzel is yummy and it came with 4 different dipping sauce. Overall we had an amazing dining experience. Will definitely come back.”

“The only reason this place gets 3 stars is because the sandwich is good. They last 3 times I have ordered from here it has taken over an hour??? they should take their false advertising down about being fast...HAHA what a joke. The other thing that is totally annoying about this place is that when they take an hour to deliver, they expect additional tips. I am actively looking for a new place to order lunch from on a daily basis because unlike slow sandwich shops, I have to do stuff on a timeline.”

“I would never encourage drinking when you're going through hard times. But hey, if I hadn't been able to walk down to Parkway a few days a week during one of the hardest times of my life, I don't know where I would be right now. Not better, I assure you. Great Tacoma atmosphere. Always a great selection of beers. The best staff and even if you don't talk to anyone, you feel at home. I live in Olympia now but try and get back as much as possible to have a beer and be at a place that feels like it's mine. Thanks friends!”

“Amazing burgers and customer service. I found this little gem while on vacation and I am glad that I did because burgers like this are hard to find. The owner is wonderful and took care of my family and I. If you have the opportunity to try Ooh la la burgers, I highly recommend it.”

“I order a pizza online and messed it up. When I came to pick it up, they made me a different pizza even without me protesting. The entire staff is awesome and their pizza is fantastic. It's the only place I will be ordering from for the foreseeable future. Check out the awesome grand cinema date night deal too, I will be doing that soon as well.”

“This is the hole in the wall New York style pizza place that you've been looking for. The pizza is everything you could possibly want. The crust is perfect. Beautiful leopard print on the bottom, not puffy like bread, beautiful chew. The cheese has amazing stretch and a wonderful chewy texture. The level of grease is about right in my mind. If you want 0 grease Pizza this isn't for you but you don't have to mop it up with a napkin like Costco. You are going to wait a second to get your pizza. The restaurant is pretty small and will not accommodate large groups. this restaurant might not fit every Pizza need you could want but when you want the best pizza in town I think this is where to go to get it. Also they sell it by the slice.”

“Great food at decent a price, awesome bloody Mary's and bottomless mimosas. We came here a few times in the past for dinner and lunch and always thought the food was good. Decided to do a large family Sunday Breakfast here and it was great! They set us up with enough room for 12+, were very patient with our kids being a little crazy, had great food and even better service. We will definitely be back!”

“A truly wonderful dining experience that somehow feels so far away and yet so nearby. The food is unparalleled and the service is nothing short of splendid. The atmosphere is pleasantly dark complemented by music and the aromatic pleasures that waft from the kitchen.”

“Our server, Sam was amazing. So polite and respectful, quick and knowledgeable. The food was so delicious, we hardly left anything on our plates and left with stars in our eyes and warm bellies. As someone who loves anime, to be greeted by Sailor Moon and soft music, I honestly felt as if I was home. Amazing job, I'm thankful to have found this place.”
