Haven Kitchen & Bar

An overdue review - we visited Lopez Island during a week over Memorial Day 2019. We had he pleasure of dining at Haven twice during our stay. Both times we dined near sunset - and the views were on par with a National Geographic photo spread. This initially gave us pause, as we are well aware of the sometime inverse relationship with food quality in many “view” restaurants. Nothing to worry about here - Haven’s offerings were superlative, the waitstaff attentive and engaging, and meals all moved along without any sense of rush or pressure. It was like enjoying a meal & a spa treatment in one visit.

We look forward to our next visit to the “friendly island” and enjoying another sumptuous Haven meal. Thank you, Haven owners and staff!

Loved our impromptu date and break from cycling here. The bartender was patient and gracious, answered all our questions and the food was fresh, delicious and lovely. Chef even came out and said hi! Cannot wait to stop by again on our next trip. Also super appreciated that even when full we could still hear each other! We hope to bring our hard of hearing parents to a wonderful restaurant that they can actually carry on a conversation in. Thank you for our lovely evening!

This was a great place to eat and came highly recommended by our hotel staff. The food was generous and delicious. The Dungeness crab cakes i could have eaten for days, and the Burrito was amazing. The only reason i cant give this 5 stars was it was hard to get our glasses refilled, but to be fair, the place was slammed, so please take that into consideration. I would eat here again.

Great view if you’re looking to grab dinner or a drink. We had some drinks each, the cauliflower “wings” and the bruschetta and loved it all. There is definitely an opening dinner rush but the service is still fast and effective.

Wonderful food and service. Excellent view of the entrance to Fisherman's Bay with boats passing by.
