The Galley Restaurant and Lounge

Killer food, awesome sunset views- no frills and a great local bar atmosphere after hours.... recommend eating on the bar side of the building- even with kids. Much livelier!

I love the Galley. My folks are residents of the island and we have been going to the Galley for years. Every visit brings joy and full bellies. The waitstaff is attentive and fun, Janet is my fav! Jeff, the owner, has done a spectacular job with the place. I highly recommend you check it out if ever on Lopez. You will leave with a smile on your face and a delicious food in your belly.

I went there three or four times in the three days I spent on Lopez Island and every time I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The food was great. Service excellent no matter the time of day. The staff made you feel very welcome. It’s the kind of place you hope to find when you’re traveling. Well done!

Did dine here 2 times in past month. Place was always welcoming. Burgers are prepared well and food was tasty. I did get attention well enough and my needs has been fulfilled.

I recommend this place, it is worth to eat here.

Flatlanders beware! Don't come in here with your big-city expectations and impatience. This restaurant, and everything else on this island, runs on island time! The waitress here is very nice and does a great job, and the cook makes great food. If you don't like it, at least be polite to the woman bussing and busting her ass to serve you!
