(October 29, 2019, 10:48 pm)Had a great time dining at Setsunai. After coming back from Japan, I was craving noodles. The bar was set high, so I was a little disappointed on the wait and the temperature of the broth, but other than that, it was savory, delicious and hey pretty close to the flavors I had just enjoyed in ramen shops in Tokyo. There are specific times that the restaurant is open, so you just have to become aware before showing up. Other than that, cudos to this small shop, one man kitchen, and all the love.

(August 29, 2019, 10:54 pm)A friend who lives on Lopez told me that this little noodle restaurant is "one of the islands hidden gems" and she knew what she was talking about. The salmon in my dish was so fresh I think I passed it on the ferry this morning. The staff was funny and friendly. Loved it.
