“Really wanted to like this place and give it another try… the first time around the Pad Thai wasn’t great and tasted pretty fishy with hardly any sauce and flavor. But I’ve heard such wonderful things so thought maybe it was a freak incident so begged my hubby to give it another chance. We got the mixed veggie delight and pad Thai to go tonight and once again both dishes were pretty disappointing so I think we’re going to stick with Thai Naan on First street which has always been our go to and is consistently delicious tasting! Maybe I just have a specific taste in Thai food though because I know lots of people who LOVE Thai and Taps and highly recommend them :)”

“Had a chance to try the newly constructed Seattle Hill Gyros during a visit from Vancouver and the place was phenomenal. The service from owners Ali and Khalid was excellent and I was impressed by their hospitality and professionalism. I had no doubt that everything was Halal and I got all the verification I needed from the owners. The ambience is nice and I especially love the signage and the ambient LED mood lighting. The place was vibrant and spotless. I had the Spicy Greek Gyro because I love feta. The portion was very generous and all the toppings tasted super fresh. The house made sauces are a must try. Presentation was gorgeous with everything coming on wooden serving platters and little fry baskets. Fantastic value at their price point. Definitely on my go-to spots whenever coming down. “The food here is affordable and very good. I got the lamb kabob platter and everything it came with was fantastic. Basmati rice was moist and flavorful, lamb was tender and perfectly cooked. I don’t generally like hummus but the hummus it came with was delicious and I ate it all. Also comes with a small fresh salad pita bread. Food came out quickly. The place was clean as well. Employees were kind and really seemed to care about their customers. Overall a very nice place to stop in for a quick lunch. Will be going back soon.”

“NOT A TYPICAL CAFE. I feel like that needs to be said because the name is confusing. They have tea (make your own flavors, kind of. You pick the tea, the flavoring and the toppings), coffee and (really yummy!) desserts. Smaller selection, but really fun and beautiful presentation. Not expecting it to be so beautiful! The milkshakes are my kiddos favorite. This would be a fun stop with family or friends visiting, too.”
