“Sometimes I buy my gas here. It's not the most expensive place. That usually have a window brush and soap. That's helpful to clean bugs of your windshield, if you're into that sort of thing.”

“So excited to see authentic Louisiana style Seafood in Washington State! This is my first visit and I ordered the Seafood Basket so that I can sample a bit more variety. Nothing disappoints here. The seafood (shrimp and catfish) isn’t just fresh, but also very well-prepared, well-seasoned, and made with love. Their dedication for food is obvious and in every bite. I think the owners are smart for taking advantage of the fine quality of the local seafood in the area, and combine that with their roots in Louisiana style cooking. It’s full of flavour and not overwhelming. Although this place doesn’t seem easy to find at first, a quick search on Google Map would do. It’s really an exciting hidden gem. As a Canadian, this is really worth driving across the border for. They seem to be adding new items regularly and seasonally. Eager to try something new next time.”

“We ordered two chicken burritos and they were delicious! So glad to have a go to in Ferndale rather than chihuahuas (I’ve been there several times and so underwhelmed). Large portions, well seasoned and stuffed with chicken, rice, beans and onions/cilantro.”

“First time checking this place out. Had dinner. What brought my husband & I in was the $5 burger special that was posted in Facebook. Burger was good. Fries were soggy. Philly sandwich was very tasty. Worth checking out! Looking forward to checking their breakfast out next.”

“Best spot in town for a quick lunch, great pizza, clean and open kitchen. Individual slices available 11am-3pm, two and a drink for $6 (as opposed to just a small burrito across the street at TacoTime for $8, great deals)”

“This business is female and vet owned, but that’s just the start. Crystal (the owner) really puts so much love into her food. The charcuterie boards are all so artfully crafted and beyond delicious! She sources food and crafts from local makers which really adds to the experience. Highly recommend!”

“Oh my goodness these were amazing. I went here on a recommendation and they did not disappoint. We ordered the Birriabtacos and elote for food. Then we also got horchata and champurado. It was like eating at Grandma's. So satisfying especially on a rainy evening. My only issue is they aren't open every day of the week. :-)”

“The food was fantastic! Definitely the last Mexican restaurant in Ferndale that is actually anywhere close to authentic tasting. What's more, they were very reasonably priced, and employees were extremely kind. I've grown up in front of my whole life, and nearly every Mexican restaurant that's been here has been a favorite of mine at one time or another. But as of at least a year ago, I would rather go eat my Mexican food in a Shell station. Super yummy!”

“I love that starbucks is always consistent with their products, the staff is always friendly and they are pretty darn fast. I've been told by employees that the company treats their employees very well, which makes me want to support them back. I love the Flat White with ristretto shots and whole milk; the spinach feta wrap and the impossible breakfast sandwich.”

“Cool atmosphere. Wide selection of self-serve beer, cider and wines. You can order up to 24 oz of beverage before you have to check in with the host and authorize another round. They don’t serve food, but you can bring your own snacks. We also ordered take-out from Coconut Kenny’s next door and they delivered directly to our table. We want to come back when the weather is warmer so we can check out the covered patio area.”

“We walked in and was greeted by, I believe the manager. She was so nice and told us about the special they had going on that day. She was a great person to talk too and she even helped us get some money off of a side with the question of the day. She went above and beyond what she was supposed to do and more then what I was expecting. I wish I got a name so I can compliment who she was. All I know is it was the lady closing on march 1st, 2020. If i could give more stars i would. Overall great experience.”

“My first time going to eat at Coconut Kenny's went with my boyfriend and 3 year old son. I shared a large pepperoni pizza with my 3-year-old autistic son. The pepperoni was spicy and my poor son had a hard time eating the pepperoni. My boyfriend favorite is the macaroni and cheese pizza. I can't wait to try something other than the pepperoni pizza. Also I like the pineapple cream soda was a different flavor.”

“A friendly attentive staff that remembers you from prior visits. It has a nice open area for seating for large or small groups. The food was descent. Rich in color making beautiful plate presentations. My family and I enjoy the convenience of it being located in a shopping mall in town.”

“My daughter and I stopped there for dinner Sat night and they were very busy. We had a very good waiter and were served immediately, they bring you nachos and salsa to start. She had the Fajita Bowl and I had a Taco.. We both enjoyed our meals. Their Guacamole and Salsa was very good.”

“I can honestly say this is the best Mexican food in all of Whatcom county, if not the best food of any type. The restaurant is small, with only about six tables, so when you walk in you are immediately greeted by Dora, the owner, who is a very kind woman who puts love and care into everything she does there. The kitchen is fully visible and immaculate. The salsa is rich in flavor. The tamales are the best I've ever had, and the prices are pretty reasonable considering this was just recently featured on Yelp as one of the 100 best restaurants in the entire country. You can and should call ahead and reserve tamales if you have specific flavors you are looking for, but honestly they are all great.”
