“Such an amazing place with lovely staff. Never disappointed. I know sushi isn’t the cheapest dinner out there but they have great prices for the amazing quality of ingredients. I saw someone say that there aren’t enough options for sushi but I’m just thankful that we don’t have to drive 30 minutes for sushi anymore! Also would LOVE to know where you can get 2 rolls of sushi and soup for $15CAN ($12US about) cause that sounds like a steal…or just really bad sushi….”

“Been to this hidden away gem yet? If not, it is a must! The Chef is the best at making Shrimp and Grits among everything else on the menu. Beets by Matthew are a favorite too. If you're not a seafood lover you can go for the Shuksan Burger or Pork Cheeks 😊 So many good choices on the menu, with occasional seasonal surprises too. Knowing most of the items are locally sourced makes it all taste even better. Oh, and if you like a genuine Po'boy, the rolls are local from New Orleans. Just go through one of the double doors at the golf course and the kind staff are there for you. They had a tasting and pairing event last night with some amazing samples of food and ciders (Finn River) that was great to be a part of. Rumor has it they may do it again. Adding some pics of the delectable samples. Thank you to all the lovely staff for making us want to be regulars there. The warm summer night's, live music, great drinks and sweet servers definitely got us hooked.”

“I don’t know that I could like this place any more than I already do. The cappuccino gold, which comes with a rim of finely crushed almonds and honey, has quickly become my favorite coffee in town. And talking with them about their process for sources their beans is impressive. Jean Pierre and Oscar have been wonderful—so welcoming and knowledgeable. Love the music and the atmosphere, and the coffee is outstanding. Highly recommended!”

“Loved this place! Went out for a full day date with my wife and decided to stop here for breakfast. The building is reminiscent of the 60’s-80’s diners. Decor is nice and homey and the food tastes like home-made/aforementioned diner food. Both my wife and I loved it and can’t wait to re-visit. “So excited to see authentic Louisiana style Seafood in Washington State! This is my first visit and I ordered the Seafood Basket so that I can sample a bit more variety. Nothing disappoints here. The seafood (shrimp and catfish) isn’t just fresh, but also very well-prepared, well-seasoned, and made with love. Their dedication for food is obvious and in every bite. I think the owners are smart for taking advantage of the fine quality of the local seafood in the area, and combine that with their roots in Louisiana style cooking. It’s full of flavour and not overwhelming. Although this place doesn’t seem easy to find at first, a quick search on Google Map would do. It’s really an exciting hidden gem. As a Canadian, this is really worth driving across the border for. They seem to be adding new items regularly and seasonally. Eager to try something new next time.”

“This gem of a gas station is worth taking the exit for! Great price on gas. Spacious set up makes it easy to pull in. Found it entertaining that as you gas up, ads and music play on the screen. Big market with hot food options and lots of different coffees and drinks. Got the dark roast and it was probably the best gas station brewed coffee I’ve had. Bonus - clean bathrooms with multiple stalls.”

The older gentlemen seemed to be completely uninterested in giving anyone attention, including the gal serving me. Considering that I only drink local mead or PNW hard cider, I was hoping for, "Hi, Welcome, have you been here before? Have you ever had our mead/cider ??" Or" can I suggest a 'flight'??". “Had a friend turn me onto this food truck. Great fish and chips down by the water. Make sure to ask if they have salmon and halibut, as they do get their fish fresh and they might be out. Doesn’t take but 10 minutes or less to get your food. They have some outdoor tables, no indoor seating so just keep that in mind. But they do take credit cards and the outside seating is nice when the weather permits.”

“I've been going to Dos Padres for years.. Seriously my whole life.. I am appalled by some of the reviews. I completely disagree. It's not your typical mexican restaurant, say Mi Mexico, or Jalapenos, but personally it's a lot better. The food is quality, and the atmosphere is desirable compared to other Mexican restaurants in town. And if not getting served crappy rice and beans with your entree is a turn off, that may be a good thing. I think the reviews for this restaurant are based on the opinions of people who don't care about the quality of their food. Its tasty, healthy, portions are good, salsa is the best, nachos are the best, fish tacos are the best-in-town-period. Let me end on this question.. Would a 3 star restaurant be in business as long as they have if they were really just a 3 star restaurant in this economy? I don't think so... I'm not going to say that it's the best food in the world, or that the service is incredible every time.. But seeing such a poor rating for a wonderful locally owned business that has never been disappointing is enough to get me to write a review.”
