“Just moved here from Austin TX and I’ve been here five times in the past three weeks, lmao. Love this place. Authentic delicious tacos like ones I’d get back home, great homemade horchata, and plenty of drinks to choose from. Carnitas and pastor tacos are my favorite ;)”

“Recently moved to Mount Vernon. Not very familiar with this area and not a big fan of "belt sushi". Instead, I chose a drive to Bellingham instead of Everett or Mill Creek. When I arrived, the staff were very polite and attentive. I ordered the Cherry Blossom and Blue Fin roll and both were exceptional. Along with the prices well within reason, I would definitely recommend and will make this my usual go-to sushi until I can find better up North.”

“This place is one of my favorite stops for coffee. Good coffee amazing service and even the breakfast/ snack food is good. Always seems to be a fun read on the Zoom Zoom Sign and also a question of the day on the whiteboard in the drive up window. The owner is Amazing and though the staff changes due to college course I believe the staff has always been great! I love it the kids love it and the wife loves it. Also a great spot to get your oil changed, car washed and a zoom zoom coffee. All 3 located in the same lot.”

“If I have to buy chain pizza, I buy Pizza Hut. This one is vary pleasing on the exterior with an interior to match. Very clean and modern with great interior colors. Several big screen TVs in the dinning room. There is an odd "bar" seating area, I suppose for solo diner's. Don't want to eat in? User the ready online order system, drive down and pick up your order. I prefer a thin crust pizza, and Pizza Hut has an excellent one. Pepperoni, black olives and mushrooms. Very pleasant service here. I'll be back.”

“Great Subway! Staff are very polite, and the restaurant is extremely clean. I feel bad for the owners - a huge and out of place development went up right next to the store recently, and now completely blocks this Subway from view.”

“Let me start by saying the service was great and the place was clean. Those weren't issues. However, the restaurant interior colors weren't that great - so I took a photo. Fries were cooked well, but not as good, large and filling as the Wendy's next door. Plus the supposed Bacon McDouble didn't have big burger patties. They were so questionably thin I decided to open the burger up as per one of my photographs. Overall, I'd spend the few extra bucks if you have them on McDonald's competitors. Issue is not the franchise, but the food. In fact, I came here to try McDonald's for the first time in a while since I usually go to Wendy's franchises when I can.”

“Excellent Vietnamese food served here. Would eat there more often if I could more easily get up that deep step to get in to order. Not easy for disabled. But have eaten there before, great food items.”

“I go here several times a week. The people are great, very friendly and courteous. They focus on quality, but it's adorable too. A nice treat to get is a Jr frosty with french fries. When I go inside it reminds me of the 90s for some reason, and that's a good thing. Downside: the drive-thru is often crowded. Why? Well obviously because they're successful and a great place to eat! So, the good: friendly, quality, price, frosty, nostalgia. The not as good: traffic.”

“Best tacos, enchiladas, rice and beans. We found this place by accident, but will definitely be back. Very clean and super friendly staff. Great service!”

“Taco Time is one of my favorites. This one was well maintained, service was quick and friendly. Food was really good also. I ordered the Mexi platter which was good as usual but this time instead of the small bag of chips they were dessert chips with cinnamon on them. Nice touch.”

“We went because it was recommended as a hole in the wall type of place. It for sure is a hole in the wall no nonsense kind of place. Our orders were taken quickly and they seemed very busy with take out orders. There are a few tables and the atmosphere is exactly what you would expect. The food was fine. We only had chicken teriyaki so I can only speak to that. The portion was fine for the price but not special. No complaints at all. It was chicken teriyaki prepared in a reasonable amount of time for a reasonable price.”

“Good service, good portions, great taste and great price! Very underrated restaurant in my opinion. I love the $6.99 chicken teriyaki bowl.”

“I was impressed. This place is lacking on the decor but more than makes up for it with the food and service. When I went they were slow and the service was instant, my breakfast was impressive. I was expecing less but got more. The potatoes were a little heavy on the seasoning but it was in a nice way if you know what I mean. I would go again if I was in the area and I would bring friends.”

“The pizza I dream about! Affordable and super tasty! The staff is friendly and chill. The only downside is MY personal problem of not living closer. Yet we still pick up a pizza here when we can. Side note, cheese sticks with marinara are especially exquisite.. great stuff!!”

“We liked the store section of the place with many awesome imported products to choose from. We tried several things from the menu and found the size and quality not to be worth the price. We will be back to shop the store.”

“Their bubble tea is SO MUCH BETTER than anywhere else I’ve tried in Bellingham. Tapiocas are perfectly squishy! Welcoming, clean atmosphere and the guy who took my order was very nice. Will be making this a regular destination!”

“We stopped by for pizza and beer/wine for dinner during happy hour. Happy hour knocked $1 off of my draft beer and my wife's glass of wine, which were both good. They had a small but varied beer selection with around 4 rotating taps. We ordered a Detroit pizza with pepperoni which was a square pizza with a thick crust. While it wasn't crowded, service was quick and the pizza was hot and tasted great. It has a nice atmosphere in an older brick building with historical pictures of Bellingham on the walls. They have great outdoor seating when the weather warms up. We will definitely be back.”

“Tasty food with excellent service. Drunken noodles with tofu was excellent, the number two spicy level was quite mild, but some added chili paste brought it to life. Crab Rangoons were good, but would have been better with real crab.”

“I am so happy they moved the restaurant so it is near me now. It is the best sushi in town people. I am Asian and I really appreciate good sushi and they never disappoint. Great atmosphere and top notch service. They recently expanded their menu and I am so excited to try new things.”

“My girlfriend and I spent a wonderful morning in here while passing through the town on our west coast bicycle ride. The rain was intense and we decided to grab a coffee to wait it out. The rain didn't stop and neither did the coffee! We ended up drinking about 6 + we ate an amazing breakfast. The girl behind the counter (whose name escapes me) was super friendly and welcoming on that gross morning! It seemed over the course of the morning the whole town passed through here and I can see why! Highly Recommend!”

“This place was absolutely phenomenal! My husband and I are traveling around the Washington coast and stumbled onto the Skylarks and decided to give it a shot. When we walked in we were immediately greeted by a very friendly staff. The atmosphere, was quaint and beautifully decorated. My husband and I were quickly seated at a table of our choosing. Our waitress, Alisa, was a complete sweetheart and very welcoming. After browsing the menu and hearing the soup choices, my husband and I decided to try the Lumberjack sandwich and the clam chowder. During the meal, Alisa offered me a sample of the Jalapeno Cheese Soup. It was absolutely delicious!! It was so good that my husband and I decided to take a quart home with us! Our sandwich was also very filling and my husband and I had to take half of the sandwich home. I wish we were staying in the area because we would definitely go back. Thank you for your kindness, Skylarks. ❤️”
