“If I could give them 10 stars I would. The fried green tomatoes were the best I’ve ever had and I frequently make them myself. The collard greens are so flavorful, the meatloaf was thick and tender and juicy. The cornbread was really the icing on one of the best meals I’ve ever had. For drinks, get their gin fizz and I promise you won’t regret it.”

“Went to lunch with my mom today, the food was great as we both got the Lunch Fajitas which was mixed with Beef, chicken and shrimp. Also the chips and salsa were great as the salsa was not bland had great flavor and spice! The recipe was good as our waiter made sure we were okay multiple times. We definitely plan on coming back for dinner and mixed drinks!”

“We decided to try out Double B's Bar and Grill at the recommendation of the front desk clerk at our hotel. The recommendation was a good one. We ordered the Jalapeño Cheddar Balls as an appetizer. These were spicy and delicious. I ordered the fried chicken dinner with a side of onion rings and green beans. My wife ordered the pot roast dinner with carrots and green beans. Portions are more than enough and there was plenty for us to sample each other's meal. The food was really good. Since we were traveling I didn't want to take any leftovers so I pretty much clean mine and my wife's plate before the dessert. 😋 Our waitress, Sydney was very friendly and attentive. Our glasses were never empty and since this wasn't a fast food restaurant, I have to say the meals came out in a reasonable amount of time once we placed our order. I decided to try the Apple Dumpling for dessert. I must say this was an excellent choice to top off the meal. We will definitely try to visit again. I highly recommend a visit if you are in the area. I posted menu pics but as with most local establishments, menu choices are subject to change.”

“Everything was awesome! One of the best dining experiences I have had in along time. all of the food is made in house-nothing is pre-made and purchased front mass distributors. I didn't think I wanted fires but once I tasted my friends, I just had to have the special Greek Fries. The Baklava Cheesecake is to die for! Creamy cheesecake in a homemade graham cracker shell topped with honey and homemade Baklava. All well worth eh 45 minute drive! I will be back there SOON! The customer is treated like a member of the family in the easy atmosphere.”

“After finally hearing and reading all of the reviews about this restaurant, I finally decided to go try it. I was not disappointed. My lunch as started off with a complimentary basket of pinwheels, which are similar to a puff style snack, with a little bit of spice to jazz them up. I couldn’t decide between tacos or tamales so I tried them both. The tamales were excellent and very authentic, filled with chicken, corn, peas, carrots, and other veggies. The taco al pastor (pork taco) was delicious and also very authentic. Just the right amount of cilantro and onion. It was served with a side of homemade salsa, which I think was chipotle based, due to its smoky flavor. This place has food from all of the Americas, including the U.S., Mexico, El Salvador, & Argentina. This is the first of its kind in this area. Embrace it. To the all of the haters who said they’ll never be back after the first visit, give them a second chance. They’ve had a rough start, as many restaurants do. This isn’t the typical Tex-Mex joint, and it’s definitely not Taco Bell, so don’t expect that. What you can expect to find is some homemade, very authentic, and delicious Hispanic (and some American) food, that nowhere else around here offers. I look forward to my next trip and trying something new.”

“For its proximity to Spencer, WV, this has to be the nicest(newly renovated) restaurant in the area. The place is clean, cozy and visually appealing. There is table service, take out and a well stocked bar at this location. The service is fast, friendly and attentive. Parking is in front of the restaurant and across the street. Prices are decent and food, freshly prepared and delicious. Congratulations on raising the bar for the area.”
