Señor Machetes

Food was very good. Service was very friendly but a little slow. We will definitely be back.

The food was certainly good, but not great. The service was quite slow and the waitress needed to ask twice what our drink order was. I will visit again sometime to give them another try since it wasn't a "bad" visit overall. Frankly, it seems there are better options for Mexican food in Madison.

Decent Tex/Mex fare. Machetes are essentially very long tacos (9", 16", or 22"). Service at lunch starts with a small bowl of simple broth, vegetable, and noodle soup and chips and salsa. Prices are reasonable and service is prompt.

Fresh, and good. The ceviche was so good. It's a main course, but our table had it as an appetizer. The medium size machete was huge and I struggled to finish it, but again it was so fresh I couldn't leave those last few bites behind.

The best new Mexican restaurant in Madison! I had their speciality Machete dish and it was unlike any other Mexican dish I've had. Absolutely spectacular. The service was very good and everything we could ask for. The ambiance is great and so authentic. Highly recommend.
