“Lively, energetic, and HR has great taste. Food was fresh and made with pride. It was St. Patrick's Day and the staff was festively attired, and the bar room was decorated as well. It wasn't over done. It was obvious that someone had spent some thought and time to make it so festive. I noticed they have Monday and Tuesday fixed deals. That you can expect every week. There was also daily specials, on a printed menu that seem to change every day... Again, it felt very thought out and organized, making one feel confident... The music was rocky/sensual and it was a crowd of energetic, very physically active, with potential...It was alluring, fun and not quiet mature.. there was alot of mystery that I am sure... My heart wanted to stay, but my life has a schedule...But it took me back to the days where I would of just stayed.... Thanks for a great time...I think I'll stop back....”

“Went on a busy Sunday morning. Place is very small, but comfortable. Sat at the counter and had corned beef hash and pancakes. Pretty good pancakes. The hash needs work, it was just potatoes and corned beef. Both parts were fine, it just wasn't really a hash.”

“Have been here twice now. Really good concept and potential but very slow service and food prep. When it comes to the salads...if you build your own you get 5 toppings. They literally put a tiny, and I mean tiny, amount of each topping. For carrots it was like the amount you can fit between your finger and thumb. Then I did tomatoes and it was like 5 halves of grape tomatoes. Really weird. I don’t want just lettuce on my salad. Give me some toppings people! Of this place is going to make it they need to get people through the line faster and put enough of each topping on the salad that you can actually see it.”

“Very nice and detail oriented service. Macarons are delicious and the other desserts look amazing. I ordered the mixed berry crepe and was very satisfied! It was a smaller portion than what you would receive at a regular diner but it was enough for me and the quality was excellent. This place is a classic, loft styled cafe and can get pretty busy for lunch but it’s definitely worth the wait. I highly recommend this cafe.”

“Happy to see a new restaurant in our neighborhood! Stopped in on a snowy day with the hubs, both had a different poke bowl special with white rice and I also ordered a fresh kale and carrot juice. Poke was delicious and very fresh, although it was slightly higher price than other poke in Milwaukee... The juice was fresh, however it was warm because juiced it to order. Would have preferred it chilled over ice. Will be back!”

“My first time actually getting in for a visit. Parking lot is shared with WAC and Froedtert facility so its difficult to find a spot to park. Spacious, clean and comfortable cafe. Typical coffee shop offerings plus salads, breads and bakery items. I tried a cranberry walnut scone and a white tea. Scone was not really a scone... it was dense and gluey rather than a proper light tender treat. My search for a fluffy scone continues.”

“Great old school atmosphere, and fantastic service. I love sitting at the bar and chatting with the bartender and other patrons. Eddie's is reasonably priced for lunch, and a great place to bring clients. With all that being said, my last 4 visits here have been hit or miss. Twice it was fantastic, and twice not so good. My wife and I had a steak here 2 months ago, and it was burnt. Why did I give it four stars, you ask? I guess it's because of the great service, and they have been good in the past. I'll give it another shot.”
