“Our family of 5 was road tripping across WI and we were not thrilled with our hotel options when we came across this property. We had so much FUN! The employees were SO NICE and friendly. The owner emailed us communication after booking, and again just before the stay.(making suggestions of what to bring and what to do on the property) The A-Frame was a home away from home with every comfort. The beds were all very nice, the room/house was VERY clean, well stocked, nice furniture, would will be back and we would stay longer! Everything was NEW, and updated! The Bar on the property is FUN. Pour your own beer-LOVED IT. GIANT Pretzel-BEST THING! The crowd was fun, the staff was wonderful to our daughters who ordered 8 kiddy cocktails-never annoyed or put out to indulge their requests for more cherries! The golf course is not currently open, but it did make for a nice walk and quiet night of sleep!”

“We vacation every year at a nearby campground and have stopped at this location in the past. We were going to skip this year based on our past experiences, but then noticed the name change. We did a brief stop to check it and it it looked wonderful. A couple days later we went their for diner and everything was great. We were happy to see Linda was working. She is always so nice and loved seeing here again this year. The food was excellent and love the decor changes that have been made. We look forward to eating here again next year.”

“It was a lovely place. I apologize for not remembering the cashiers' name, but she was so sweet, so helpful, and informed. She knew the wines. And I can't wait to open the chocolate covered cranberries. My husband and I got ice cream cones, orange cranberry, kind of like sherbert, and I had the cranberry delight which was SO yummy! Some gifts to buy, and a family looking like they were enjoying a lunch there. I would come back again. Thank you for the fun experience! 😊”

“Great food and beer. Beer is brewed from family farm grown grains. Same with the grains used in the pizza crust. The mushroom pizza we ordered was made from fresh locally foraged oyster and chicken of the woods mushrooms. The pizza was topped with a very generous amount of those wonderful mushrooms. The restaurant is known for using ingredients which are in season and locally grown or foraged.”

“Our 8, 4 and 18 month old couldn’t have been happier with their waterpark weekend! We had 7 guests, so we chose to stay in one of the villas. Aside from the fact that is, clearly, a rental unit in need of some TLC, it fit the 4 adults and 4 kids with room to spare. It was nice having a porch and picnic table to enjoy lunch outside. Our weather was beautiful. The lifeguards are fantastic. Our 4 year old was scared at the bottom of some waterslides, and the lifeguards got into the outdoor poop to catch him- he loved it. Our kids also enjoyed the arcade and laser maze. This isn’t a 5 star resort, but for a 2 night stay, it was wonderful. If you are able to get the villas for a decent rate, I would suggest them. Bring your own kitchen goodies- like a cookie sheet, extra forks, paper plates, etc. we didn’t have a toaster. We did have a coffee pot! We might venture to the dells the next time, just to give the kids a change of scenery, but I wouldn’t pass up 3 bears (in the summer) if you’re thinking of a getaway”
