“5+ stars. What a wonderful place to dine. Our group of four arrived and found immediate seating. The wait staff was very attentive to our needs and we never had to wait for service. The food was very good too. I had a burger, the type one looks for when they are in the mood for a good burger. My wife had the prime rib sandwich which she thought was very good and I got to enjoy the leftover the next day, the meat was very tasty. We look forward to returning soon.”

“Solid 3.5 stars. Nice friendly small town saloon and restaurant. Enough screens to catch a highly rated badgers or packer game. They have 8 taps but three of them are undrinkable, i.e. Lite beers. Ugh. Food selection is good. It is always skillfully prepared. I wish they had more barbecued meats and grilled fish selections, like walleye. WiFi is fast n free.”

“Disappointed ???? I was very excited about the new location for take out! I attempted to call 3 times to place an order... no answer. I thought you must be busy and decided to stop in and place my order then wait in the car for it to be completed. The door was locked with a sign saying “open” I’m hoping this is first opening bugs that will be worked out in the future! EDIT: My first experience was not good but I tried again! Staff was prompt, friendly, and kind. Food was very good. If you miss them the first time give it another shot. You won’t be disappointed again!”

The Pier always seams to hire the right people. Summer time at the pier is better then most as you can sit on the patio and look at the river. “Prior to going to Agave I read several reviews and looked at the pictures and had it as my top place I wanted to eat at in Hudson. I ordered the chicken tacos street style and I felt like they were over priced and not even close to street style. The tacos had so much meat and just romaine lettuce. I felt like the flavors were off. I've had better tacos for a fraction of the price. I'd suggest working on flavor over the amount of food placed on the plate. Service, was exceptional. Very friendly staff.”

The white and red cabbage where quite tasty and my selection of German potato salad was over the top delicious with the schnitzel!
