“Good day cafe has recently opened in a location that has historically had a lot of turn around. They're renovated everything - everything is clean, it smells like nothing (which is good). The table, chairs, and booths are all new. It was a good choice to renovate everything. The menu has a lot of options and is pretty friendly to the picky family. They don't have hash browns which I was skeptical of, but the baby red potatoes are actually similar to hash browns and are delicious. I had the breakfast burrito with 1 slice of the cinnamon roll french toast, and my husband had an meat lovers omelette with a side of sour dough toast. Their homemade 4 berry jam is delicious, and honestly all of the food was really good. The French toast was good as well but I was not a fan of the frosting/syrup that comes with it (it was a cream cheese base it seemed like). The restaurant was refreshingly cold. The dinner black coffee was hot and fresh. The service was a little slower than normal, but that may be because our server was about to be cut and I am sure she had other duties to fulfill. The manager/host/owner? lady was really nice. All of the servers and hosts were attentive and helpful with smiles on their faces. This is a nice little place and I hope it stays around longer than the previous businesses that have been in this location.”

“I love this place! Came here for dinner for the first time on a Tuesday early evening. The decor is very inviting and charming. The service was great and the food was terrific. Had the green citrus iced tea which was so good fresh brewed. My sister and I shared the bruschetta and it was so tasty and delicious. We both got a bowl of mushroom risotto and it was very good and came with a perfect piece of bread with butter. I can't wait to go back!”

“Grab some friends and a few extra napkins - this isn't first date food, it's chicken wings at The Barton House! Here is my promised review from dinner last night with my boys. I would highly encourage you to start with an order or two of the House Dipped Ellworth White Cheddar Beer Battered & Fried Curds! This is one I think even Sam Buschman would love! Last night's Packer Special was $5/lb for Jumbo Wings (usually offered on Wednesday). I am glad we enjoyed the #wings because we can all agree there was nothing special about the Pack last night. 😭 My 10 year old son is the self proclaimed wing eating guru. It is his go to food of choice! He rates every place we go on a scale of one to ten. He gave the wings last night an overall score of 9! (P.S. Only dad's hot wings at home rate higher than a 9 😉 I get like 100 lol) Some of the flavors varied on his scale, since he doesn't handle heat all that well. Here are all the sauces we tried last night. -Sweet Thai Chili (this was actually the most spicy but it was also my favorite) -Buffalo (just enough spice to let you eat more) -BBQ (tangy and really delicious, this was my younger kids favorite) -Garlic Parmesan (yet another really tasty wing) -Teriyaki (pretty great flavor this was my older son's favorite) So you can see we were all over the place with favorites! My suggestion go in on a Wednesday and try them all! You can get 5lbs of wings for $25! Come on man that is a STEAL! Don't over eat! They have DESSERT and you are going to want some! We tried the Southern Strawberry Short Cake (wish I could tell you more but I barely snuck a bite of the biscuit before my kids finished it.) I did however get to enjoy the Carrot Cake which is made locally by Blissful Bites. Steve Donaldson It was delicious you need to get in there soon and try a slice! “First time back for breakfast at Hankersons since they closed the restaurant portion at the beginning of the pandemic. Food was good, but could have been hotter. Service was excellent considering only one waitress, service was quick and the price was OK considering the amount you receive. Restaurant was cool to cold depending on your preference,which could have led to the food less than hot when delivered to the table.”

“Excellent food! We enjoyed the delicious street tacos, seafood tacos, and carnitas with superb Happy Hour margaritas. Friendly staff brought our food out efficiently but an onslaught of fresh tables meant we were left to wait a good while to receive our bill, and then another long pause for service to pay. Yes I am aware of struggles with staffing so I’m still giving five stars. We will come again!”

“We enjoyed our two meals taken here during July. The food is quite good, but the service has been fantastic, despite the shortage of staff in every restaurant. Vino Con Volo has eager and accommodating staff both indoors and outside on their spacious and beautiful patio. Our hats off to Scott who made our first visit to the new restaurant so special. He was pleasant, kind and efficient. Our second visit outside in a large group with children and people with allergies could not have been better serviced, although we did not note the servers names. I especially appreciate the hours Vino Con Volo is open - everyday for lunch and dinner and also Sunday brunch. Thank You!!”

“Tried for the first time finally today. We only live a few blocks away and been meaning to for a long time. SO cute inside and amazingly sweet friendly people. New to West Bend myself and it is so great to find a great place right here with delicious vegan options that can also satisfy my big hungry meat eating husband and teenage boys. Had the Vegan Sammy and veggie soup. Delicious! The vegan sammy was also huge. Way more than I personally can eat. My husband had the Cuban at work the other day and said it was amazing. “OUTSTANDING! I have given Toppers a second chance this week and I was blown away! Last November I gave them a try after they opened and it was not a 5 star experience. When I went in last week, my experience was a completely different. My food was ready, even though I got there early. I was greeted with a very friendly "welcome to Toppers" as soon as I walked in. When I got home to eat the food, it looked like the food on the menus! I highly recommend Toppers Pizza in West Bend. They are doing Pizza the right way!”
