“Used to use the other Subway in town, and the other one is absolutely TERRIBLE! Gave 3 of us terrible food poisoning about a year ago, and none of us has visited a Subway since. This location, however, has changed that opinion and exceeded my expectations! The staff was fun and friendly, the food tasted fresh, and was made precisely to order, and the store was clean. I may start returning again after a great experience here!”

“I loved knowing about the way our food was prepared! It tasted absolutely amazing! Tried the duck appetizer and i had the twist on a chicken Marsala and it was divine. The wine samples to pair my server got right on the head my first time tasting, and as my boyfriend’s first wine experience he also found a wine he enjoyed!! As a first time guest it was super easy and our server was super helpful! Definitely will be back!”

“We stopped in for the first time to try the chicken. It was busy in there between the to go orders and people waiting. The wait was substantial...but it was hard to be upset there were 2 men working very hard. They were very friendly, eager to please and apologetic for the wait. The chicken we had was hot and fresh and good. The biscuits were really yummy. The mashed potatoes and mac n cheese sides were okay. All and all we would definitely return but call ahead our order next time. Way better than KFC!”

“This was our first time here and it was hard to say if we liked it or not. On the one hand the food was very good. I had the Irish stew and it was excellent. Everyone else liked what they had as well. Our waitress was very nice and very attentive. However the service was EXTREMELY slow. It took forever for our food to arrive. In the end, they apologized and comp'd our drinks (without us asking or complaining). So that made up for the slow service. But there was also a table of 8 very loud drunks next to us. We were more or less unable to converse at our table because they were so loud and obnoxious. Not much the restaurant could do about it but still it made our dinner unpleasant. All in all, I'd say it was a worthwhile experience and I'd be willing to give the place another chance.”

“The meals that we had for my wife's birthday were extremely well prepared. The service we had was terrible The appetizer we ordered was not brought out until after our dinner was served. The server admitted she forgot to place the order for it I did want to try it so I agreed to have it presented. Our cocktail order was completely wrong and we were never asked if we wanted a second round of drinks. I asked the hostess to reset us as our wives had to keep their coats on because we were directly under the a/c vent. She said she would move us but we never saw her again. However the air was turned off. All of this made for a very unpleasant birthday for my wife. We will never be coming back to Sobie's again.”

And the staff are funny and friendly- very tolerant of my 2.5 year old’s antics. Decent beer selection (“Indian beer” but I’m hesitant to say that- like “Fosters is Australian for beer”- you’ll need that fosters to nurse a fat lip if you quote that Down Under. But for arguments sake- they have decent Indian beer selection).”

“After a couple people randomly tell me Cornerstone has the best burger in town, I decide I gotta go. Got a simple cheeseburger with cheddar and fries. Fries were crinkle cut and delicious, as they should be. Nice and hot, no major oil taste. Burger was delicious. Beef was tender like ground sirloin but wasn't dry. Perfect medium temperature. Bun was fresh and fantastic. Service was friendly as timely. I'll be back. ** Note: My father ate there twice recently and had old oil flavor in fries and onion strings. Maybe it was a fluke and they didn't change oil soon enough. Also, our sodas were flat. We will overlook for now.”

“We are ALWAYS on the hunt for new pizza places. Bella Gusto in Oconomowoc was recommended to me to try out so we decided to give it a shot. I gave them a ring to find out if they reserve tables. They told me they don’t hold tables but had a few spots to sit and eat. We showed up with some friends, 4 of us total, and there were open tables to choose from. The ordering process is a little different from your typical restaurant. You grab a menu and pick out what you want eat, grab yourself something to drink from some coolers (there’s a good selection of sodas, beers, and they did have a wine list) and head to the checkout counter. There you place your order, and pay, then grab an open spot to sit. Staff was friendly and I liked the decor and layout of the building. The appetizers came out quick, pizza come out hot and ready to eat. Pizza had good flavor and a thinner crust that had good texture, lots of cheese. I do love cheese but it does make it a little more greasy. Overall it was a good experience and good pizza. Worth the stop to get some pizza. They also do carry out, as many customers came and went pizza in hand while we were there.”
