“Was visiting to Waterloo for business and a hotel staff member recommended this place to me. Not just that, he also said that I should definitely try the Wildcraft Burger as it was one of the most popular dishes here, so when I walked in, I knew exactly what I was going to get. I walking in at about 8:25 pm, and the place was relatively busy on a Wednesday night. Noise level was average. They have a very nice bar area and some high tables for 2 around the bar. I was seated right away and got the the Wildcraft burger ($18) with lettuce wrap and was charged a dollar more for the wrap. Interestingly enough, while ordering the burger, I wasn't asked for the temperature, but when I asked I was told that their recommended temperature was medium well. Food arrived within 20 minutes and was accompanied by some delicious, fresh and crispy fries which were seasoned with a little bit of oregano. The burger itself was ok, nothing great about it. I felt it could've used some more seasoning. Service was very good and the staff was very attentive. Will definitely visit again if I am in the area to try out something from their very interesting looking plant based menu.”

“I've lived in Kitchener for 2 years and drove by this location and never went in. Pleasantly surprised by the size and how friendly the staff were. We went on a Saturday night without a reservation, wait time was about 45 minutes. We were seated before the 45 minutes which was great! Our server Ashely was great and the food was pretty good. My sons didn't enjoy their sandwiches, and said the fries wee hollow. Other than that we would definitely come back and bring the entire family.”

“It may be pricey but the service and the food is fantastic. The waitress had great timing and didn't come around too often to see how we were doing, just at the right time she'd show up. She was really paying attention. My prime rib was perfection!!! Highly recommend this place, the bread is fresh as anything, the appetizers are amazing and the atmosphere is dark yet welcoming and warm.”

“We tried the hot pot tonight. The portion was big enough, we ordered 2 plates of meat and other things as well. Very full at the end. The server was very nice and the seasonings were good, not too salty at all. Only thing ,I wish they have more vegetables in different kinds rather than lettuce as " seasonal vegetable". Mushroom and shrimp were really good. Worth the money ( consider no extra tips needed).”

Many of those who work around that area would prefer it over other restaurants though there are many other options at such a busy area up north in Waterloo. The parking lot might be a little tricky and not quite spacious, but the service is good, and the restaurant is clean and organized. The service speed is also acceptable with a reasonable waiting time when ordering.”

For $5.09 for two watered-down tasteless coffees, I don't think I'll be back.
